instead of just heading into a game and going straight into the kick off in head 2 head or in mut where you see your opponents top three players, there’s should be a brief animation that shows that players stats or percentages of pass plays vs run plays or completion percentage on passes and yards per rushes. I don’t know exactly what but something to help you identify who your playing but not make it something huge just a brief thing as you get into the game. for offense and for defense for defense maybe percentages of what defenses they run and their interceptions and sacks could show and for offense it could show their top three offensive players on the team your using with the offensive career stats overall on that persons account and on defense top three defensive players on the team your using with the defensive career stats on the account. Why not include the TE player in more positions in the Formation Sub ??? It's a player that pops up in lots of special team plays. I would like to see EA include the posibility to sub in a TE at most of the position on the O-Line in Punt and and Punt-return setups. Then why not make it clear what ratings are the most important in those ST plays ? Perhaps in the future add a rating, like you at last did with Long Snappers. Some players have over the years been used almost exclusively in ST plays. The last couple of version of Madden have added the WR to be put into gunner positions, but that was too late for players like Matthew Slater and Steve Tasker. In Madden of old they never survived the first cut by players since their WR ratings was too poor. It's time to show more love to those players that live their whole careers with Special Teams, like the now recently retired CJ Goodwin. Very few snaps as DB but +10 years in service for Cowboys as an outstanding special teamer. Just finished the live streams and was thrilled by all the improvements coming to the games. Then when you announced the MVP membership I was super excited. I loaded up laptop immediately to sign up! Only to find out, it's locked to USA and Canada only. Just like the gameplay betas. So just so we're clear, you want me to spend the exact same amount of money, for less content, and 3 days early access instead of 7? That sounds tempting..... NOT. You don't mind my great British pounds when they're hitting your bank! But you won't let me play a beta, and won't let me inside a membership program to get the same stuff as everybody else. I have a very minor ask to the EA team for Madden 27, seemingly insignificant, but a very easy fix. The standings information presentation in Franchise Mode is extremely clunky and feels like a stripped- down spreadsheet output on a 1980 computer. How about an improvement? Show the standings as they would look on an ESPN web page or television presentation, showing all teams at once, in their respective divisions, with logos, and standard information such as W, L, T, Pct, Home/away record, PF, PA, etc. Your current setup to view by division or conference is completely unnecessary, and should be eliminated, Easy fix, and a huge improvement to a minor item. I played the Madden 27 Beta and overall I think the game is moving in the right direction. Here are the biggest gameplay issues I noticed: Defense still isn’t rewarded enough. DBs should attack the football more instead of allowing receivers to complete catch animations. 50/50 balls aren’t really 50/50. Receivers win contested catches too often. Ratings, positioning, leverage, and ball placement should matter more than user timing. Pass protection needs work. A three-man rush shouldn’t consistently generate instant pressure against five offensive linemen, especially not against seven blockers with two tight ends staying in to protect. Offensive linemen sometimes ignore defenders or leave assignments, creating unrealistic pressure. The run game should reflect personnel better. A basic three-man defensive front shouldn’t consistently stop heavy two-tight-end run formations. If the offense brings extra blockers, it should usually have the advantage unless the defense loads the box, calls the right run defense, or simply has superior players. Simulation mode should reward football knowledge. Reading coverages, making the right protection calls, choosing the right personnel, and calling the right plays should matter as much as stick skills. Overall, I enjoyed the beta and appreciate the opportunity to play it. These are suggestions from someone who wants Madden to be the best football simulation possible. One additional suggestion I’d include is: The game should reward numbers and leverage. If the offense has more blockers at the point of attack, they should usually win. If the defense overloads one side or fits the run correctly, they should win. I still stand by immersion and it’s jarring to see players traded and switching teams having a graphic with their old colored jerseys on. This needs to be fixed ASAP and immediately on day 1. custom divisions should be a thing just for us players as fun and something small. making a legit NFC East with the Giants, Jets, Eagles, and Patriots is good. Don’t know why this isn’t a thing. i should be able to set which international games are played in after one year sim in franchise it’s kinda crazy that the international games disappear once you sim during one season. Since Madden 25 (2014), the auto generated schedules have been a mess. In real life, in the last week of the regular season, every team plays their division opponent, it’s a huge week to help wrap up divisions and makes for some very interesting games and situations EVERY YEAR, But in Madden, it’s been absent for over 12 years. you’ll see games like packers vs bengals in the last week of the regular season, cool, what a stupid game to watch to see if my Chicago Bears win the division. the same way you can go and do formation subs in franchise mode pre game, you should be able to in mut, it’s would just be such a good feature instead of having to do subs manually every single game you go into😭 the specialist tab isn’t specific enough for most subs where as in franchise mode you can set your team up down to the exact players in depending on formation. if i want bigger linebackers in my base sets and faster safeties in the box in my dime sets I should be able to set that all up in the mut menu and since it’s already in franchise it shouldn’t be that hard to do. I like the new interactive way of doing the contracts, but there are also things that i dislike. i like the factor that it's a live negotiation and some of the items on the buttons we push are cool. We do need more control over the contract. It feels one sided. The player feels like he is in complete control of the negotiation by intiating the contract he wants. We need to be able to offer the contract, on our terms/years/breakdown FIRST. We have zero control over the contract. It's just what that specific player is looking for. What if i don't want the player there for just one year? What if i don't want to pay 15 mill for a player i feel isn't worth that amount of money? We can't low ball. We need to be able to initiate an initial offer and then work the system how it is. A player negotiation doesn't involve the breakdown of the payments through the year and voided years. We need an option to use or not use this in Franchise. There needs some rethought on Coaching Abilites. Too many reflect directly on player ratings/physicals. A Coach should never have immediate/temporary impact on these. Just because you are a coach, doesn't make you instantly make bad players good. There needs to be other factors involved than increasing a players trait rating. Having a CB that covers with a 73 and makes them an 80 overnight for game is unrealistic. Then, on top of that, you are able to combine these abilties and boost players even higher! i've heard of increasing players by 13 overall points! Player Abilities in Madden are bad enough. We have to deal with Absolutes in the game still. There is and has never been a perfect passing QB in the NFL. With the compounding of Coaching Abilities and the powerful player abilities makes this "simulation" game an arcade game. CFB actually has better abilities in their game. Most are not so overpowered and they don't have these massive jumps that are just unreal. Consider using XP boosts only or other factors that doesn't immediately make players go bad to good. A coaches teach and they don't make players any players into instant starters or superstars. this needs to develop over time. If you want to keep these as is, then may consider an additional trait on players. have a coachability trait where it only can aborb a fraction of the abilities until they meet a starter level rating. Caps on player ratings would also work. Have random caps for each player where they can never acheive higher than that cap number. Make this a fog of war type of thing so you never know unless you follow the player closer. Would also be a cool thing for the draft. For online CFM leagues where guys have busy schedules and cant always make draft times, having the ability to set AND adjust your draft boards for both rookie drafts and league wide player drafts would be HUGE. Again, not just favoriting players but being able to set a legitimate order of where you want them picked after they have been favorited. Rookie drafts AND player drafts to start the mode. Please add the ability to watch the simmed plays from the sideline. Without it the immersion is broken for me. If I play as a Safety, I want to watch our offense play. If the game is tight, I want to feel that tension and root for my team. It makes you feel more part of the overall team and not just a member of the defense or offense. Seriously, it's a huge deal breaker for me and for others. We all play differently, and some of us actually like to take our time and see the whole game if we want. The developers in this game just seem to focus on all the wrong things. I can PROMISE you we dont care about "realistic fan engagement" or "updated graphics" "more realistic player models" (that you literally only see in the menus) We want more game modes especially to play with friends or online groups. 1.) Ranked team play ( not that superstar ko slop) 2) tournaments ( in game) 3) online mini games (play with friends or against others) 4) CO-OP franchise play you and friends should be able to play a career together on the same team with all the same features you get playing solo. 5) madden should create a open world concept like nbas "the park" Those 5 things would make the player base sky rocket. Every year I read what they have added and am genuinely upset. They change some graphics add a new mechanic here and there that they will eventually take out. Now my issues with madden they make it very clear they care about MUT more then anything Navigating menus is not only unorganized but choppy and slow. (Has been this was for years now) They care more about "realism" then the game itself. I can promise you besides the 5% of people that play for the theatrical affect we do not care about crowds and stadiums and special affect we care about the game. Inconsistent. Whether your on defence or offence when a ball is in the air the game pre picks whos catching that ball. It should award the player with better user control that positions himself for it. ( also taking into account player ratings) If theres a JJ or Jamar chase in a 1 on 1 with a random corner you have never heard of they should come out on top majority of the time. ( theres a literal in game adjustment to fix that) stop trying to "balance the game" let the user be in control of that balance. Speed. To often do you see a 75 speed d line chase down a 96 speed qb. Or a 88 speed corner stride for stride with a 98 speed wr. Again let the user fix that with coverage. Strength. If there is a 160lb corner tackling derick henry 1 on 1 open feild ans blowing him up that is just not possible or realistic. He can tackle him but like they do in the nfl ankle tackle. I have more issues then this but if they simply focused on even half of these it would be a better game. I would absolutely love to talk to the developers and get some insight on why these things are so hard to input because every other sports game seems to have it right. I have played madden since about madden 10. Only missed 1 madden from 2010 till 2026. I would die for 27 if EA added this feature. You can choose to be a specific coach or owner, whether it’s a position coach, coordinator, or HC. You can then work your way up to becoming a prestigious HC. Furthermire, you can only control things your coaching rank allows you. For example, a WR coach can only handle WR reps in training and could suggest to the GM/HC, which ones to start, trade, or bench. This would really make the career as a coach more realistic and so much more fun. The team you are on can rank you up based on poor performance from your superiors, or other teams may offer you positions too. Such as being promoted from WR coach to passing game coordinator because the previous coach left or struggled. Or accepting another WR coach job with another team. You can do this with multiple positions to get to the top. Example 2: RB/FB coach, running game coordinator, offensive coordinator, HC. You gain more access to the team as time progresses. When you get promoted to the running game coordinator you can train OL and TE too. You can also suggest what people would be beneficial to bring in for your run game, and who isn’t.
