I get this as well, every time I try to boot an EA game from EA desktop. Click play, there is a short pause and then the error appears in a separate window with the Desktop App stating I've lost connection. Using Windows Defender.
I have tested today again to try to find some patterns.
Cleared the app cache (help -> restart app) and then went to play Apex. Took 1 hour to get that error.
Methodology for this one is scuffed, as the first 30 minutes I didn't have the window open. In the last 30 minutes I had the window open. Can say when the message popped up, the app was unusable for around 5 seconds, then it reconnected. (what I show in the picture)
Using Kaspersky Internet Security as antivirus.
No VPN. No firewalls outside of the normal windows one, and haven't done any other major changes to anything before this started to happen.
Happens randomly while ea app is working in the background
