Re: Cannot log in to EA App [March 14th, 2023]

I've had Sims 4 for years now, as well as Sims 3, and yesterday I moved my data over from Origin to the EA application because I couldn't access my game without it. I managed to start my game from the app yesterday, but today when I tried to start up Sims 4 from the app, it said I had no games installed whatsoever. I tried to start up the game from my taskbar, as I have it pinned, but it wouldn't start from there, either. Again, I've owned the game for a while, and I'm worried that my progress in Sims 4 and Sims 3, as well as any add-ons I installed for them, have been completely wiped. 

Had prepared to download the new infant patch, but first the EA App refuses to log me in. When I finally get in, I discover an empty library. ALL MY GAMES ARE GONE!!

I'm logging into the account I've had ever since the dawn of time. I played just fine an hour ago. Now twenty years of games are gone. I'm devastated.

Hi, today i got the prompt on origin to download the EA app. I had the sims 3 and 4 with some dlc on origin which were working perfectly fine on origin.

I couldn't do anything in origin except for downloading the EA app. So i did and now my library is gone. 'Your library is empty' is what it says and when i look for the sims 3 for example, it's says that i need to buy it again.

I tried re-downloading the app and clearing the cache but nothing works...

Please can someone help?

I can log in to the EA app after several attempts, but Sims 4 isn't loading. Connection errors.

when i open the ea app the sims 4 program doesn't show even tho iv'e had it for so long please help me fix this i don't wanna lose everything

Finally got in after umpteen failed logins. Sometimes it showed an empty Library, other times it tossed me an error message, sometimes it only showed one or two games in my Library.
I persisted and logged in, logged out until it let me in and showed my complete Library. Sims 4 have now loaded, and I'm going to play a little and see what the Patch broke in the game.

Edit: I just discovered, that my game wasn't patched. It's missing the Infant Patch. LOL What else can a simmer do but laugh at this mess. 😉

Edit2: After a bunch of logout/login the patch finally showed up and is is now downloading.. at snail pace, I may add. But I'll be patient. 🤓

Edit3: After the patch finally was downloaded, the EA App crashed hard! Now I'm back to square one. 😞

it finally is showing my game library but wont open any games. this is ridiculous

I've opened the EA app to update Sims 4 but found my game library to be completely empty. I contacted chat support and got nowhere after nearly an hour of going in circles. They had me redownload Origin (?) then uninstall that and re-download the EA app. I've also cleared the EA app cache and checked that I have the latest version. After none of that worked I was sent here to write a post in hopes of some other help. If you have a solution please let me know, I feel like this shouldn't even be an issue to begin with but here we are 🙂

My library is showing empty, I want to update but I see nothing

WHY we are still unable to login in the EA APP ????????????????

Holy Hanna!  TS4 now actually launched and ran!

I started the game via the EA App without any issues.  Steam recognized I had launched the game.

Exited the game and launched via Steam.  An error popup window showed up, but the game ran fine otherwise.  So I quit.

Tried to launch TS4 again using either app and the error popup window shows up and the game doesn't launch.

BOO!

I can now login but it shows I have no games 

I can now log in fine but none of my games are launching and suddenly Sims 4 says "accessed through Steam" when I don't have it there.
