I fixed it by going to my dekstop manager: Ctrl + alt + delete, and then turn all ea programs, so the ea app and the ea background service.

This could be a temporary fix, however it will still need fixing since the error will occur again later

Hey everyone,
Following up on this one. Happy to hear these steps did work. As an added measure to these, we also recommend doing the following to help reset and clear out cached files that can cause this issue.- EA App's Cache
- (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Once rebooted, log out of the app
Clean out Windows Temp files
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot your PC
