Re: EA App installs other game instead of my game

I'm having the exact same issue, try to install NFS Rivals and it will continually try to install Burnout Paradise (BP). I do also own BP when I go to install BP it installs BP as would be expected.

I've not only fully removed the EA App (registry entries, directory structure, caches etc.) but coincidentally also had to reinstall Windows 11 on a new PC, the same behavior on an entirely different PC with fresh EA app install.

Quite frustrating as I have the game files backed up from when I played around 2 years ago, but trying to launch the executable (NFS14.exe) or x86 version (NFS14_x86.exe) launches the EA App but nothing further happens.

Pretty sure this is a bug on the server side where it's linked the BP game profile to the NFS Rivals tooltip causing it to endless attempt to download BP whenever a new NFS Rivals download is initiated.

@EA_Kent  @EA_Leeuw @Straatford87 Sorry to tag a group of community managers, but this thread has been open for 3 months. The screenshots shown by @Shuffheadshot are exactly what I'm receiving too after the above attempts to resolve the issue myself (1. Fresh install of EA App 2. Fresh install of Windows 11 and EA App on a different machine)

    Hi @Nytestryke89,

Please don't tag a lot of people at once. It can look like spam and your post or forum accounts might get marked as spam because of it.

Regarding the issue, @Shuffheadshot@falcon028, do you have this only with NFS Rivals, where the EA app installs NFS Burnout Paradise instead?
