Wow, here I was on my brand new clean "install" and I thought it would be great to download some of my favourite games like the Sims 4. I download, brilliant there is the button to choose where the program is installed. Like every single. other. program. ever.... Choose the location I want, download. Am a happy camper. But wait, what's this... I happen to open the location I selected to find NOTHING WAS IN IT yet I had the launcher open???? I thought there was no way, but sure enough I found the launcher in my program files. Where I don't want it... Then I considered maybe I made a mistake or it was a weird bug, on the third attempt now I was utterly sure it was no mistake. I close the thing and just try and cut & paste where I actually want it on MY computer. Can't do it.. It seems they've taken it a step further and have some worm wriggling around when you have the launcher "completely closed" to prevent this. Not only that I am reading some of these replies and it seems even after using terminal it will sneak itself back onto C drive.
Why does whoever is behind this excuse of a launcher hellbent on making it literally the worst of the launchers that hold some decent games hostage.
Here is some feedback, I have no choice but to have four other launchers installed on my computer. But I get over it at the end of the day, why? Because I can put their pointless launchers where I want them on MY computer... Despite EA having some hundreds of dollars I've spent behind a shadowy lock and key, they can wait until the developers or suits behind this get some sense.
