Re: How to fix EA app Error 500?

This app was forced down our throats. We did not ask for it. EA gave it to us. My games were working well under the Origin app. So why did EA change from Origin to a app where we have to wait for EA's permission to play games that we bought? Hey EA! Can I play my Sims 4 game if it's o.k with you? And don't expect me to buy any more games from you. I don't loke throwing my hard earned money away on garbage.

  • At 12pm cst I cut my game off. I was playing The Sims 4 which EA's server allowed me to play after a long wait for the server to recognize my game and it's many expansions as "installed".  The games are shown "in the library", but if it does not say "installed" then you can't play them. And there is nothing that we can do about it but wait on the server to tell us when it see's the games as "installed". I went back to play the Sims at 5am cst and true to form, the server was having another 500 error mysterious problem. Instead of EA asking us to "try again in a bit", maybe it should say "We screwed up the server and the app and we are sending everyone back to Origin where they did not have this problem before." But they won't do that. They'll try to fix the app and lose countless customers in the process. Way to go EA. I'll bet you don't roll out that Sims 5 now, as if they ever intended to in the 1st place.

  • @Relney how long did u have to wait? I'm asking cus I still can't play it for over a week. I can't even delete it
