Re: Sims 4 error: Failed to launch game

Hi all.
I just updated my game and it refuses to load. I am getting an error message from EA app stating "failed to launch game. something on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." I assumed it could be my mods (even though I updated them all) and removed the entire contents of the folder. I have repaired the game as well, to no avail. This has been going on for 2 hours at least as of the time of posting. The loading screens do not even make it to the household selector before crashing. Does anyone else have this problem? A fix?

    Well. It looks like I wasted my entire afternoon trying to fix something that fixed itself. It now works both online and offline. The error message must have been telling the truth!  Thanks for the reply.
