Re: The EA App is Stuck On Preparing

I had the same issue of my EA app stuck in preparing mode when trying to download a sims pack. 

What resolved this for me was...

1. Ending task on the EA app and EA Background Service on task manager (windows btn + R, taskmgr)

2. I then deleted my EA app from my files 

3. I re-downloaded the EA app on google chrome and opened it when it was finished downloading 

4. It said that I had already had the EA app installed - I clicked the option "repair" 

This redownloaded all my games and sims packs and allowed me to continue using the app like normal. 

Sorry if this doesn't work, I'm defo no techwizz haha.
