Bug in Alice Madness Returns

I came across a bug in Alice: Madness returns while I was playing Chapter 2. It's the part where you're looking for the octopus. There should be moving platforms you can see when you shrink that help you get to a higher (visible) platform and progress through the game. Those hidden moving platforms are missing from my game. I watched a gameplay walkthrough of someone playing at the same stage as me to see why I couldn't continue through the game and saw that they had the platforms and I didn't. I have attached a picture of where the platforms should be, but are obviously missing. Thank you!!
