I'm also having this issue. I bought six last night, played with them for a couple hours, went to bed. Got back on today during my break and they were gone. Uninstalled Sims, reinstalled, restarted computer (twice), then when I found out where to check my purchase history - it's kinda weird you can't do that in the actual EA app, you have to be in a browser, but whatever, that's the least of the problems I've had - it says that the transactions were failed because of my payment method... even though they've already taken my money out of my account. (I've triple checked.) I haven't had any luck getting ahold of anyone at EA.
*Edited to add: I'm starting to think that there's some sort of issue on EA's end, I've seen a couple different threads from people who bought games/DLC yesterday but is gone today for the same reason. EA is either unaware because their customers literally cannot get ahold of anyone in customer service, or they just don't care.
