yes, however the page never stop loading and it becomes unable to process the refund.

Can you try creating a case here: https://help.ea.com/en/
That is the only way to get in contact with our live support team.

So I actually meant that I was able to resolve the refund request, it is just that even after submitting a new ticket for another unrelated issue, the button to contact an advisor is greyed out, and when I click on my cases I do not see any of the new tickets I submitted that day.
