A Way Out (Semi Crossplay)

Hello. I have the game "A Way Out" Installed on xbox app through xbox game pass (On PC) I was wondering if my friend got the game on Steam, will we still be able to play together because we are both on PC? If so, how would the friend invite list work?

    @Alberteke1 A way out does not support cross-platform, so you would need to be on the same platform to see your friend only and invite them. Since both Game pass and Steam use EA App to run EA games, you might be able to but I would not expect this work function this way.

    So if my friend uses pc steam and I use Xbox series s can it work if not can I tell my friend to use the xbox app on his pc and I use my Xbox series s

    No, the game doesn't support cross-play, which means cross-platform-play. So also not via the Xbox app on PC. Also, since this thread is quite old already, I will be closing it.
