Battlefront 2 mod for ps4/5 is cheating?
there is a mod around that can improve graphics, increase fov, and greatly reduce input lag among many other things all of which should not be allowed on console. i understand i am wayyyyyyy late for this topic but it is being advertised on popular video sites alot recently. it absolutely is unfair for the regular players on console. Will it ever be addressed?6Views0likes0Comments[Split Fiction Bug] Stuck on loading screen
To preface, I play Split Fiction on steam deck. I played the game a couple of weeks ago with no issues. But today I tried playing and got to character select and invited my wife to the game, we selected our characters and hit play, then our game got stuck on the loading screen. After restarting the game, every time I launch it now it gets stuck on the loading screen right after the opening splash screens. I have verified game files twice, reinstalled the game, tried changing my proton versions from default to experimental, and nothing has fixed it. As I was typing this post I was letting the game sit on the loading screen, and after about ten minutes it finally loaded to the main menu. I was curious to see if the issue was fixed so I closed the game and a window popped up that said "Fatal Error", then I re-launched the game and the splash screens played and it has now been sitting on a black screen for 5 minutes now. I don't normally post on forums but I've tried everything I can think of to fix this issue and nothing has worked, it's very rare that my wife wants to play video games and we've been trying to get this to work for an hour and a half and I'm incredibly frustrated at this point10Views0likes0Comments[PATCH NOTES] Tales of Kenzera™: ZAU - Patch 1.3 Notes
All the improvements and fixes we are bringing to Tales of Kenzera™: ZAU Today we are launching patch 1.3 for Tales of Kenzera™: ZAU. We're calling it the "Most Requested Updates" patch because it offers some big changes that come directly from community requests and feedback! Since ZAU’s launch in April, we’ve received tons of useful feedback and vital bug reporting from our community, which helps us bring you an even better experience in your travels across the lands of Kenzera. We’re pleased to announce that, thanks to your ongoing support, we’ve made the following updates and fixes: Patch Notes Added two new difficulty levels in addition to Relaxed, Balanced, and Challenging. “Story” is even more forgiving than “Relaxed” in combat, providing further support on traversal and restoring full health at each checkpoint upon death. “Brutal” is a step beyond “Challenging” and is tailored for those who want to get a strong sense of the enormity of Zau’s task. “Brutal” emphasises dashing, using skills and abilities effectively, and remembering enemy attack patterns Adjusted hazards like the insta-kill spikes, diminishing collision slightly so they feel more fun and fair Added the option to skip chase sequences after a designated number of attempts determined by the player’s selected difficulty level. Improved the map’s fog of war, making it easier for collectors to identify areas where content may have been missed Fixed an issue in which players weren’t immediately aware of ZAU’s difficulty selection. Players will now be asked to choose their difficulty level upon starting a new game. Tied players’ chosen difficulty to their save slot for those who play on multiple saves or who share the game with others Added hints, tips and reminders to the pause menu Added a pop-up tutorial for the Kikiyaon Heart encounter Other Fixes Fixed issue in which “I Am the Sun” achievement was not awarded if enemies were killed by Ignite from Supernova Fixed an issue in which Zau became stuck in pre-charge animation after the dash, double jump, and charge combo Fixed an issue in which players could not use Bamba’s Stone on GaGorib while he performs Body Slam Fixed issue in which seize expended dash and double jump charges Other minor fixes Chase Sequences Gameplay changes You’ve consistently given us feedback saying you wished there was an option to skip the chase sequences in ZAU, so we added it! Depending on the difficulty level you’ve selected, a Yumboe will appear after a certain number of attempts and let you skip if you’re struggling. The criteria for when the Yumboe will appear are: Story: The player always has the option Relaxed: Will appear after 3 deaths in total Balanced: Will appear after 5 deaths in total Challenging: Will appear after 10 deaths in total Brutal: The player never has the option A Yumboe will remain in place once it has appeared, so if you are playing on Story difficulty and then switch to Brutal difficulty, it'll still be there for you. It’s worth noting that deaths are shared between all parts of the chase, so if you die 3 times in the first part of a chase and 2 times in the second part of a chase, the Yumboe will appear for Balanced difficulty players. If the player changes difficulty, the game doesn’t reset how many times the player has died. (Please note, this patch is currently only live on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and will be coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.) Once again, thank you for your consistent feedback and support. It is an extremely useful resource for us to keep improving our game, making it all the better for you to play! It takes two still not working. This is incredibly frustrating. I make a date to play with my friend. We both have switches. Hers works fine. Mine? Constant error code. I paid good money for the game. I have connected my EA account, unconnected my EA account, cleared cache, checked for corrupt data, powered down and restarted, deleted the program, waited 30 min for it to download again… SAME ERROR CODE. Me and my boyfriend have played It Takes Two on Steam and everything was great. But when trying to play A Way Out, we were required to connect our steam platform to the EA and play the game through there, even though we bought it on Steam. Now, while trying to play it keeps kicking us out saying that the other playing is not responding and the session will close. I don’t know what the issue is but we’re both connected with Ethernet and we have never had issues playing online. By reading the forums I understand we’re not the only ones. What should we do to fix this issue? We really want to play the game.maryloizidou3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer100Views2likes3CommentsIt Takes Two Nintendo Switch Error - 105-80190000

After clicking the Play button for Split Fiction on Steam, it will prepare to launch for play then stop and the button will revert back as Play. The game never came up and it has worked before. My laptop meets the system requirements for the game. I’ve tried following instructions online to set the graphic card for the game and make some modifications to game properties on steam and none worked.jchan321013 days agoRising Newcomer69Views0likes1Comment[INFO/GUIDE] Buying Split Fiction after using Friend's Pass on Nintendo Switch 2

I bought It Takes Two on steam and downloaded it on EA, but when I open the game, it just tells me to "Purchase Full Game" which I already did. When I click on "Purchase Full Game" it just brings me back to the "It Takes Two page" on EA and it doesn't have anything about buying on there, just a button to play. I did play this game months ago and downloaded the friend pass but I uninstalled it and I downloaded the full game when I bought it on steam. I have tried closing and opening the game but nothing works.Solved2KViews0likes6CommentsSplit Fiction Synchronization Bug (Factory Entrance, Final Dawn)
We are encountering a bug in the Factory Entrance level in Final Dawn chapter of Split Fiction (vid of the section I'm referring to) where the blue shield breaker that Zoe explodes is delayed on Mio's screen (i.e. when Zoe activates the shield breaker attached to the box, on her screen, it looks correct like in the video above, but when I (Mio) see it on my screen, it is exploding closer to the end of the belt, and there is no hole in the blue shield). I was getting a driver error earlier, so I updated everything to the latest version (Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows, Version: 32.0.101.6874), and the game and other aspects of the gameplay seem to be running properly. Tried different controllers, decreasing resolution scale like this person suggested, restarting the game/Steam, etc., but still facing the same bug and haven't been able to progress. This has been brought up in multiple different posts on this forum and on the Steam forums, but I can't find any working solution--please help!rutabagers6 days agoSeasoned Newcomer66Views1like1CommentSplit Fiction on switch 2 and switch 1
Hi. I have Split Fiction installed on my Nintendo Switch 2. It is said that you can play it with another user on switch the switch 1 using game share. But when I try that I get the same split screen on both the consoles. Am I doing something wrong? I was expecting there to be no split screen and the two consoles have different screens for the 2 players. Is this not possible with the game share option?TerjeB6 days agoRising Newcomer432Views0likes0CommentsLost in Random Switch Edition Icon
So, I've been chasing this issue for years without an update. The Nintendo Switch version of this game has a placeholder icon instead of the official game art. It looks absolutely atrocious on the home screen of your Switch and hasn't been fixed for many years. It's been passed along to the publishing team, but so far, haven't heard a single thing about it. Can this please be fixed? I love this game but don't want it on my homescreen cause of hot ugly the icon is. I wanna be able to show this beautiful piece off.todaisybyme12 days agoSeasoned Novice31Views0likes0CommentsSplit Fiction: EA Play Pre-Login Check blocks PS5 Child Accounts by default.
Ok, so I'm trying to play split fiction with my son. Within the world of PS5, I allowed the game and set it up so he has local access without issue. However, he splits his time between myself and his mum. When he's with his mum though, he simply cannot play it at on his account. It simply won't allow him to connect to EA servers to even log in. Here's what I've worked out so far: Local Play. No issues at all, we can play together on the same PS5. Online Play: I set up an EA child account for him so he could play. When he starts the game, he gets a box on the screen to log in to an EA Account. He also has the button that says 'Play Online'. In both cases, if you click it, I get the following errors: Gameplay recording paused because you entered a block scene (this disappears after 3 seconds) Unable to Login. This account cannot get online. There might be a few reasons why this might be. See https://ea.com/unable-to-connect for possible reasons and some troubleshooting you can try. The only option at this point is to close). When you click close you get the next error Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information. Result Code: 401-18eea To confirm, there are no issues with network and internet access at either side. For example, on my parent account, I have no issues at all and I can even invite my son through the PlayStation network. However, when he receives the invite, the same thing as above happens. My conclusion is that EA Play is checking the PS5 account age, confirms its a child account, and then blocks the account from accessing the login servers, hence the 401 error (which is usually associated with forbidden) before it even reaches the login servers and likely due to the age of the game being PEGI16, even though the game has been marked as allowed in PS5 family management. So, I need to ask, is there a way to switch off the child account check on EA Play that happens prior to login?, or at least allow me to allow the game for him (like on PS5) so it bypasses the check for specific games like Split Fiction? Any help to understand or resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.Flashfodder14 days agoSeasoned Newcomer323Views3likes2CommentsSplit Fiction (Friend Pass) keeps crashing upon launch
Hi, I own the game, and my partner is using the Friend Pass. Unfortunately, every time he launches the game, it crashes to the desktop immediately, before even reaching the main menu. We've tried all the suggested fixes found both on this forum and elsewhere online, but nothing has worked so far. We’re really hoping to play together. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
