Can’t slingshot in unravel for ps4

I can’t perform sling shot by following the directions ( holding down left sick and then release) or what the controls say in the pause menu ( slide my finger down the touch pad)

@pttheenchanted Is the game unresponsive in general when you have to perform a sling shot? Would it be possible to disconnect all controllers and try a different one?

I tried different controllers as well and it didn’t work
