Can 'It Takes Two' game's friend pass be shared if it is downloaded using xbox g

I play on Xbox and have an Xbox game pass ultimate subscription. I downloaded the game 'It Takes Two', which is available on Xbox game pass and I want to share the game using 'friend pass' with one of my friends who is on pc. He does not have game pass for pc. Can it be done? and how to do it.

    @Magicman854 Ahh apologies I missed understanding your initial post. To confirm, yes since you have access to a copy of ITT, your friend should be able to play with the friend's pass just make sure you are playing from the same platform/client.

    HI @Magicman854 To confirm are you trying to use the friend invite Xbox Games pass just added for GamePass PC? If so, you will want to reach out to Xbox support for assistance with that. 

    However, from my understanding, the invite sends a full access trial time of Game Pass PC. Which should include EA Play (see Xbox FAQ) for them to access It Takes Two and other games on the playlist. 

    If they are getting an error about not having access to EA Play it might be because it's a trial of the game pass which we would be unable to change.

    Actually, I have the game pass ultimate subscription and my friend who is on pc does not have game pass. I have downloaded the game on xbox, now if he dowloads the friend pass and I send him an invite will it work?

    To play it takes two from Xbox gamepass is it needed that both players own the subscription? Or can one have it and share the friend's pass to the other one?
