I realize I'm responding to an old post on here, its June 23, 2026, I have been working on getting this game to launch for the past three day.
I worked with EA's incompetent IT people (3 of them all copy and pasting the same answers), to working through the issue with AI, to finally doing a complete fresh windows 11 ISO install. in the end, nothing worked!
BUT!! GOOD NEWS!!! the Issue was that the DirectX files we have all been told to re install from an offline non web extension exe were not repairing or replacing the files that needed to be replaced, (Visually they were all there, but they didn't all have the correct authentication!) so I had to track the files with no digital signatures( If your lucky enough, it will throw up an error code saying what file isn't working when you try to launch the game. if not, it seemed to start throwing the file names after 3 failed attempts to launch the game in a row), find the file, delete them and then do a re install of directx to force it to do a CLEAN install of them!!
to do this, Click on file explorer, open C: Drive, open windows folder, open system32, then scroll down to the d3dx file or other identified file that doesn't have a digital signate on it (right click the file, click properties, select digital signature tab and check it has an embedded signature), if it doesn't, delete the file and do a re install of the directx files. it will force it to install the correct one.
I had three different files that had no digital signature but it had the file, and for what ever reason no matter how many times i would do the install, (Again, I went so far as to do a complete install of windows 11 again!) if i didn't delete it, it wouldn't fix it. after I replaced those identified files, I did a restart, then a repair of the game through the EA app and she loaded up!! I hope this helps some other poor fool that runs up against this in the future!
