Hey @SepSensi @ShinjiOtato @Ralph2411 @nickylovesall,
Apologies, I'm awfully spammy today but there's one more thing I should be checking with you folks:
Are your graphics drivers on the latest version?
If they are, could you maybe try and see if clean-installing the drivers changes anything?
Thanks so much for hanging in there!

My nvidia drivers are updated. I think using my work-around switching from Co-op online to co-op local (via steam remote play) is to troublesome when playing online. I can't check if the problem is fixed because we just skipped the ships ahoy level and continued playing co-op online in the next level.
- Coop online: Some additional info on the bug, when using the cannonball attack the ducks are invulnerable or not registering properly (watching videos confirm that the ducks are one-hit only), as the life bar is consumed the warning shows the players has left the session.
- Tried connecting again and continuing the level doesn't fix the level.
- Used coop local to restart and finish the level and continued playing coop online.
Attached dxdiag below
@ShinjiOtato How do you skip the ship ahoy level or boss? We would consider doing this
@EA_Leeloo As far as I know the graphic drivers are updated, I did think about it and actually had a new game ready driver update which I executed but it didn't help at all
@Ralph2411 I tried playing the level locally with my brother, after finishing the level I switched to co-op online with my friend.
I recommend using steam remote play to play the level until the boss fights is over, and switching to co-op online after the level has finished@ShinjiOtato Is it possible to do this steam remote play online as well since the other person does not have someone else to play with locally?
@Ralph2411 yes, once you start the game you can invite your friend by right clicking his name on steam.

I can also confirm the same problem. I own the full game and my friend who was invited disconnects during that boss fight.
As mentioned above the ducks are immune and upon death of our ship my friend disconnects, from that point we can only replay with the same issue with no way to progress past this point.
I have not yet tried local co-op.
I am UK and my friend Canada, I have added a DxDiag if needed.
This solution of using steam remote play works perfectly fine, even if the distance between two players is big (Holland-Brazil). I can add that it is a good idea to not both use keyboard using remote play since this gave some weird issues of who is controlling what.
I actually used my PS5 controller plugged into my pc while my girlfriend used her keyboard and we got through the boss fight very quickly!
We have the exact same issue as described by @CarbonCarl (i.e. my bf owns the full game and I use the friends pass and disconnect during ships ahoy once the ducks enter the game). Have tried lowering settings, switching WiFi etc, does not work.
Many thanks to everyone for their input on playing remotely, but we don't have a controller and there is the annoying issue that you can't use two keyboards to play locally / via steam remoteplay.
@EA_Leeloo : is there any progress on this issue? We are literally stuck at this level and have enjoyed playing the game up until now, but are this close to asking for a refund... No clue what a DxDiag is, but as I mentioned, @CarbonCarl and @ShinjiOtato explained the bug in detail already.
many thanks!
Same issue here, cannot do damage to the ducks and get disconnected. Happens all th time at that spot, rest of the game works fine.
So I paid for a game that has an inviniclbe rubber ducky that can't be killed. Is EA going to refund me or will you actually fix this issue? I paid for the full product, and my partner disconnects with every death, while the ducks are unkillable.
I paid for this on steam, please message me with how EA intends to either refund me or release a working, full game.
When I get to a certain point in the game it crashes and turn off my pc, why does it do that?

Hey folks,
FYI: I merged some posts into this so all about this issue is in one place to make it easier to track.
Also, apologies for the silence on my part. There isn't any news yet but I nudged the team again and will keep you in the loop.
In the meantime, can those of you who haven't tried that yet please not 'just' update but clean-install your GPU Driver to make sure there's nothing wrong on that end?
Also, can you and your game partner both lower your settings and see if there's any change with that?
I know this is super frustrating and I seriously feel for you that this is still ongoing. âšī¸ But thank you for hanging in there while we're working on this, it's much appreciated!

Any updates? We tried all possible quickfixes we could find, updating drivers, clean installing them, messing with graphics settings, but the rubber ducky level keeps making my girlfriend disconnect and she's unable to control her character at all prior to the disconnect.
yeah, seems we all have that same issues. STUCK in the bomb duck. And My other friend keep disconnect from the game. PLEase fix the bug or something.

Hi!
My partner and I are in the Cuckoo Clock - A Blast From The Past chapter at the very end where the clock goes red, and I (on the trial) get kicked out every time we are brought up into the air. We both have restarted game and computers, verified game files in Steam, I cleared Origin cache, and flushed my DNS all at the advice of EA support. We can't get past this! Please help âšī¸ - EA_Leeloo4 years ago

Hey everyone!
I'm aware this is not what you have been wanting to hear but, unfortunately, there is no news just yet. It seemed to be a bit difficult reproducing this issue but I've been chatting with the team just there and they are still investigating it.
I'll keep you updated as soon as I have an update. Thank you all for bearing with us. â¤ī¸

As mentioned previously on here by someone, I have managed to get passed the immune ducks by playing local co-op on my own with keyboard and a controller and then exiting out at the next save point. Now I should be fine continuing with online mode.
Just to add, you won't lose any progress made by switching to local co-op.
GUYS GUYS. PROBLEM SOLVED. THE DISCONNECT FROM THE DUCK BECAUSE ONE OF YOU THE COMPUTER IS NOT QUALIFY FOR THIS GAME'S MINIMUM CAUSE THE DISCONNECT. I TRY TO PLAY WITH OTHER FRIEND WITH BETTER PC HAS NO PROBLEM.

Hey there!
@CarbonCarl Thanks so much for highlighting the workaround again. đ
@uiop5419380 Good to hear that you were able to get to the bottom of things! đ
I actually just heard back from our team. Unfortunately, they have been unable to reproduce the issue but have advised to double-check the minimum requirements for both PCs and potentially lowering the resolution. You can see them in the spoiler tag below.
SpoilerMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSOS: 64-bit Windows 8.1/10Processor (AMD): FX 6100 or EquivalentProcessor (Intel): Core i3-2100T or EquivalentMemory: 8 GBGraphics card (AMD): R7 260X or EquivalentGraphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 660 or EquivalentDirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalentOnline Connection Requirements: 256 KBPS or faster Internet connectionHard-drive space: 50 GBRECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTSOS: 64-bit Windows 8.1/10Processor (AMD): Ryzen 3 1300X or EquivalentProcessor (Intel): Core i5 3570K or EquivalentMemory: 16 GBGraphics card (AMD): R9 290X or EquivalentGraphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 980 or EquivalentDirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalentOnline Connection Requirements: 256 KBPS or faster Internet connectionHard-drive space: 50 GB OK. The solution is take another friend who had better pc get u out of the duck. then there is no problem later game.

@mmorin5Hello, I have the exact same issue as you. Have you solved this problem yet? I need help âšī¸
I have also been having the issue while playing, We got up to the second part of the octopus fight, but as soon as the ducks start appearing it says that I've disconnected from the EA servers. Both of our internet connections are fine and we can both run the game perfectly. After repetitively being disconnected we realized that on my friend's screen the ducks appear before mine, but he can not damage them until they appear on my screen, the ducks being invincible damage the ship on my friend's screen when the ship dies on my friend's screen, We both get kicked out of the game and I get an error message saying I disconnected from the EA servers.
