I want to play in my account (for trophy). So why I need to switch psn account to play it.
It their job to fix it not the player that have to find a way to play online.
Play with friend is the main reason I brought this game. If they can't make it work fast I really hope someone just sued them for unpolish game system.
They definitely should fix this faster. they said there would be a patch next week, however it seemed like the Ps5 fix might not even be included in that patch. so they might be leaving us last.
Not that simple it takes time to figure out what the issue is and fix. Why the CM is asking for info to try and identify the problem. Yes would've been great to have public tests that could've found this. But no guarantee it would've happened till full release.
i am sorry but it does not take that long for this kind of issue. they just do not care because it is "rare". which is why this is the only forum i found of this issue.
i guarantee that if this issue was big enough to where people were refunding the game and giving bad reviews. they would patch it this week. but on the playstation store they are promoting free online weekend for this game. which shows that this issue is under everyone's radar.
People complain this problem a lot in reddit so I guess I not that "rare"
I guess they don't have a clue how to fix this problems.
If this problem not fix in March someone have to do somdthing.

they say it's only a fraction wich this issue bugs people,clearly it's not the case,there are dozens of people suffering on this.
I love the game on PS5 but the performance feels like on PS4.Also the crashing ,some people say it's to do with the extra DLC content,wich btw you can't delete either meaning,if it's really part of the problem then that's justt sad.
This got to be a first for me I've had zero problems on past pre-ordered games,NONE since i started digitally preordering on the PS4.
I just realllly hope they get a fix for whatever is the problem with crashing the game after the 2nd loading may be it the DLC or big Friends List or w/e.
They gotta take some notes from the Monster Hunter games.Especially World/Iceborne with their huge lobbies with zero performance issues i might add.

There is a fix! I tried it and I'm online right now playing the game after crashing the last two days. The number of players that you are blocking on psn needs to be lower than 100 Players.
To find your blocked players go to settings → Users and accounts → Privacy → Customize privacy settings and confirmations → Blocked players.

Let's just ignore how monster hunter has been around for almost 19 years? How about when rise would corrupt save files for having too many guild cards? Lots of people lost 1000s hour saves and can't get that back. World also had its list of problems at launch also.
I get it's frustrating having this problem but it's a new IP let them work it out. Probably a few million people playing the game so even a few 1000 having the issue is a fraction to them. Hopefully the performance gets fixed eventually with the pc performance fixes.
I'm well aware of the issue I have it also and sony forced a refund on my account after i contacted them. I'm not not able to buy / play the game at all cause it's permanently locked. Not being able to load a game tgat certainly will be fixed isnt as bad as a 1700+ hour save being deleted and never getting it back.
I can at least enjoy online play now :D
Had a huge Blocked Players list on PS ,unblocked everyone wich was a huge hassle since i had ppl there since the PS4 starting days :D
It piled up so much that i couldn't Unblock everyone together,had to wait until the ''Cant load.Somthing went wrong'' went away by trying to press Load again.
It took me about an 1h or 2h xD
But that fixed it for me to be able to enjoy Online play :D
Now waiting for the performance fix.
Still waaaaay more content now with the game. :D
Altho i'm still mostly soloing But occasionally it's nice to have company or help someone in need 🙂

Is there a way to get my pre-order items back after Sony refunded my original purchase? I had the bug and sony forced a refund after support couldn't resolve it. The game was locked after but I was able to purchase it again. When loading into the game it a pop-up saying my pre-order items were removed. So now I don't have my pre-order bonuses.

Can anyone who didn't clear down your blocked list please check again now? You may need to manually search for the update beforehand.
