To check did you initially purchase/pre-order the Kakuri edition or the standard edition and then upgrade after playing?

    Have you tried claiming add ons radically while playing

    every time you come to a mission or just free roaming, just hit star hit add-ons and eventually you’ll get it

    @ZZZZFROSTZZZZ @Slaugh7erhous3 I know redownloading is no fun, but have you redownloaded it from the purchase history of the Xbox site to test it? Just curious if that triggers anything as it has on other games before. If you have time and bandwidth, its worth a shot but it is kind of an odd situation for sure.

    Same issue after trying to clear caches and re installed still error code 4

    @EA_Illium  Not really because you cannot access you add ins without being online.  This way the problem for the last 24h.  Eventually it did work I got the addons but then immediately was unable to play online again.

    list of things I’ve tried as followed 

    changed ea pw

    hard reset of console

    redownloaded the game 

    deleted profile from console and re added 

    disconnected modem 

    unlinked/RE linked ea account

    Chat with EA support (they wouldn’t call or help) said to contact Microsoft 

    MS willing to issue refund 

    tried joining friends invite 

    mashed play online at campfire 

    cleated cache

    Backed up save tried new game 

    tried new game new game

    NONE has worked as I haven’t been able to play since the trial I have a feeling it’s some sort of coding error with the deluxe edition because that is where majority of players are having the issue!

    As some who who paid a premium price, once again got a buggy bad launch of a game.  This happens to often esp with EA games.  We are not okay testers if we are paying full price.  This is no acceptable any longer and anyone who pre orders the game and has to deal with this stuff should be compensated for their time.

    unfortunately getting gamers to all issue refunds, stop buying unfinished games, etc isn’t ever going to happen so companies will keep getting away with it.

    @Slaugh7erhous3 And I agree I bought in confidence once again and Ig that was not a good decision. Just couldn’t help myself being a fan of the hunting genre of games. Monster hunter lover lol

    Game Ver.1.0.2
    Game Type: Digital

    Issue: "A network connection error occurred. Error Code: 4" EA servers are not syncing with Xbox Profile. When checked in game profile. Result of this error makes me not able to receive Add On and Preorder.

    Steps Taken:
    1. Power Cycled system "Unpluged system from power"
    2. Re-"downloaded/installed" game
    3. Restarted Network Modem & Router.
    4. Checked Network Nat type. Showing as Open
    5. Unlinked and Relink EA account to Xbox Profile.
    6. Did a System Reset of reinstalling profiles and game saves.
    7. Checked Xbox system for updates.
    8. Cleared Mac Address.
    9. Tested on a seperate Xbox Series X didnt fix issue.
    10. Used a different Xbox Profiles that i didnt purchase game with actually worked.

    Forgot to mention in my reply that I am able to play online with others and online feature does work. I just cant receive add on and sync my profile.

    So same worked for me, used an alt with gameshare got all my content and can play online but just can’t on the account I bought the game with.  Tried to refund the game so I could buy it in a different name but Xbox denied the refund!!!
