unable to invite friend in a way out
Hello I am trying to play A Way Out online with my friend, but they are not appearing on the invite screen in-game, and I am unable to receive invites that they send me. Some of the fixes we have already tried are using the app recovery feature in the ea app, verify game files within steam, re-installing the game, turning off and on the in-game overlay in the ea app, double checked account privacy settings, and running both steam and the ea app as administrator

Can we try the following steps and check if this continues?
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- Steam - Verify in your library
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for your game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
