Wild Hearts performance is worse after 03/27/23 patch

Hey Hunters,

Thanks for letting us know what you are running into with Wild Hearts since the latest March 27th update.

If you are running into issues on PC (for other platforms please make a new post), try going through the following:

Spoiler

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from

EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)

EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)

Steam - Verify in your library

Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates

Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings

Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues

Install/Repair your VC++ files for Wild Hearts

Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues.

If you continue running into issues and have not already please let us know the following:

How can we find the bug ourselves?

What happens when the bug occurs?

  How often does the bug occur?: every 1-3 seconds always.
  How can we find the bug ourselves?: I don't understand your question.
  What happens when the bug occurs?: I always find stuttering happening and feel uncomfortable playing the game.
  What do you expect to see?: Please fix this problem with the highest priority.
  If you can't, please go back to the state of the previous patch for the time being.

  I was having problems before and now its MUCH much worse. Never thought it would get worse than that. Sheesh.

  Date/time issue occurred: Everyday since 3/27/23 patch -duh
  How often does the bug occur? Every 1-3 seconds while ingame.
  How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game?! In Everymap and anywhere you go you stutter.
  What happens when the bug occurs? Gameplay suffers (Everything unplayable)
  What do you expect to see? Smoothness 60 fps at 144hz - (Wu Long game uses the same engine btw and they almost have flawless 60fps after they fixed their problems.) What's taking you guys so long?

  Date/time issue occurred: Everytime I play the game, with in 30sec or moving or doing nothing.
  How often does the bug occur? Everytime I play the game
  How can we find the bug ourselves? Try the game on any pc other then the one you tested it on. Thats if you did test it right?
  What happens when the bug occurs? Go from 60fps to dropping anywhere between 10 to 30 fps randomly. I have the nivida control center set up to max fps when launching this game to 60 fps max
  What do you expect to see? I expect you to sell products that are complete and tested before you sell them. Your track record is horrible. Did you forget about battlefield 2042 EA?
