ok thank you for your message, this was very confusing for me and for others xbox players who already buy the game.
this is not clearly said in the game message we need to wait the full release.
i just thinking we can continue to progress through the game with the 10h trial if we already purchased the full game.
but that change nothing apparently to owned the game before the official release.

Atleast you can get to play, unlike the majority of PC users.
My PC trial won't run, my series X version did though, I too couldn't get past the gates. The performance on series X performance mode, let a lot to be desired, a few times it because a slide show.

@Deejay1300 Hey, so try the following steps here, this helped a lot of people play via Steam and the EA App, Hopefully, that works for you as well.
Workaround
Try removing the Steam game from the library and then cleaning EA App Cache. ea app for some reason won't see you own the game, and allow you to run the trial. After that, if you restore the game in the Steam app, it should resolve it for you.
Steps for the aboveOn your Steam Menu, top left > go to Help > Steam Support > Wild Hearts > I want to perma remove this game from my account > Standard edition > Ok
remove the listed game perma (you can restore after) > Then you have to go to the EA App download > 3 lines top left corner > Help > App Recovery > clear cache > reboot the appThen launch the game on Steam and it should boot up. You will need to keep the game disabled in order to play via EA Play only up to the Minato Gate.
If you restore the game and close the EA App, It will error again. unfortunately, you cannot go past the Minato gate until it's resolved.
To restore, go to Help - Wild Hearts - I don't see my game in my library - restore.

I bought the karakuri edition on xbox and i am unable to go online thru a bonfire or enter the minato gate it says installation not complete ive reinstalled 7 times and even deleted my save data 4 times do you guys have any idea whats going on

@NeoScudDDX Hi, I believe this just means the game is stuck in the restricted mode that can play while the game is partially istalled. Can you make sure your download page is showing the game as fully installed, then manually quit out of the game (don't suspend it), and try again.
Past that there might be some hardware issue, but fortunately these are rare and hopefully the steps above help.- 3 years ago
Yes the game is fully installed ive even reinstalled multiple times and i never launch a game before its done cause it slows the download and lets be honest ready to play barely lets you off the menu but no i only managed to get it to work by having my wife download the trial on her system and then putting it on mine via a memory card cause my download still wont work but doing it that way will its like the file itself that i download is corrupted when re-downloaded so no clue with that but i do appreciate you reaching out its more then i got with the ea reps i was emailing they kept telling me to make sure i bought the game even when i sent them a picture of proof
