Re: FC 27 Closed Beta - Received a Code for the Wrong Region

I received a playtest code and it was stated to be for North America, however I am actually in the UK. I have double checked my preferences settings and can confirm they are all correct I.e. UK location and time zone. I have spent hundreds if not over a thousand hours playing EA games over the last 15 years. I have done play tests both in person and remotely before and have never had this problem. I was really looking forward to trying this out. 

I do hope something can be done as it was not an error due to a fault on my part so I do not know why this cannot be sorted.

    Hi EON1905​ ,

    Sorry for the confusion with the code, especially since your account preferences are correctly set to the UK. I understand how disappointing this is when you were looking forward to taking part.

    Since the code was issued for North America while your account is in the UK, it won’t work with your account region. Closed Beta codes are region-specific and, unfortunately, can’t be exchanged or replaced with a code for another region.

    I’m sorry we can’t change the code in this situation.

    Thank you for replying, however, I find that to be a real disappointment. I think it is really shocking how this has happened not just to myself but, by the other posts on the forum, a lot of people. Personally I think they should try and sort this out because it does not look flattering at all.
