Regarding loopholes and teams leaning for reg changes as a catch-up mechanism...
Loopholes are a fact of life. Unavoidable. Not really an issue, as long as the organization make a honest and well managed ($$$) effort towards getting their own tech team on top of the trends to keep the sport trimmed from drastic unforeseen designs.
If this or that team is offering an aid not completely devoid of self interest, so what? As long it helps the sport on competitiveness and safety, I don't mind the FIA being pointed on right direction.
Extra brake pedal. Embedded traction control. Extra juicy fuel flow. Those were all issues of great importance that the FIA could not sniff out on their own. Efforts from the teams for the betterment of the sport is commendable – and I don't need them to be selfless on their actions.
