    @Cpayne32 Really at Miami? Gonna be horrible.. And i would have preferred the first time we return to China to be a normal weekend but lets see how it will turn out..

    Why doesn't F1 just give more money to junior categories and F1 Academy so people have more entertainment, instead of pushing sprints?


    I'd like to see F2 and F3 more often, not every 2-3 months only. It would also give more time for young drivers to shine on track and opportunity to get visibility and potential seats in F1.

    Girls would also get chance to get into junior categories, not being kept in separate competition.

    They really should but F1 is going down a very concerning path of becoming a F1 street series. It looks like we are set to lose Barcelona for a street circuit in 2026.

    I see that, too. Maybe they fear Formula E will push them out, racing mostly on street tracks.

    @P4st3l1ak I don’t mind street tracks (except miami and Vegas) but when you have perfectly good purpose race circuits (Hockenheim, Nurburgring GP, Portugal, south africa,) not being used its like they are copying FE.

    They might also be trying to "bring it closer to people". Most of race tracks are in middle of nowhere.
    LM is, after all, a mass media company so it might want to create business for its other branches and groups.

    @P4st3l1ak However if that were the case more races would be in countries that have a good F1 tradition and following. Such as Germany and France

    Vegas have been in a City but they did their very best to price out the average F1 fan. Then we have Qatar and Bahrain that have very small populations and again not the best place for fans to get the and find reasonably priced accommodation.

    More F2 and F3 would be nice but also making it more expensive for the drivers so its even more up to having money or being massively sponsored which is also not in favor of getting young talent up but it would still be better than F1 sprints.

    @ScarDuck14problem is with France and Germany that the fans are not necessarily giving LM the most encouragement to go there.. Iirc especially Germany had very low amounts of fans in recent history :/

    @Meza994 Yes because both German and French people do some thing I absolutely admire and seriously envious of. When a organisation such as F1 puts on a race in those countries. When They attempt to do what they do and get away with here and in other countries. Charge ridiculous high prices on tickets along with charging various vendors ridiculous fees to be able to setup on site to sell food and memorabilia etc to fans. They inturn charge ridiculous prices to get a return that worth their while. German and French people don’t moan and complain but still turn up and hand over our money. They just don’t go because they will not pay extortionate amounts of money. France and Germany football leagues may not be as competitive as English leagues as but the money we pay as fans to watch football on a tv and at matches is disgusting. We all moan But we still pay it.

    I understand that more races would be a strain on young drivers to get sponsor money.
    But F1 has the money, they could foot the bill for them. If that happened, we wouldn't have these entitled boys with daddies buying them seats in F1.

    @P4st3l1ak Would definitely be great and i hate being the one shattering dreams - i do that too often lol - but F1 is a business and even worse its run like a business.. So they wont put a lot of money into the junior categories that sadly dont lure a lot of viewers to the track, looking at the grandstands its sometimes really sad to struggle finding fans at all for F3 or even F2..
