23 (FFB) is so broken, who else has gone back to 22 sadly?

You lot are just being sarcastic about there not being issues with FFB when clearly many are struggling to play the game we all enjoy.

What have been discussed here:

• Wheel torque, peak torque, holding torque
• Wheel weight
• FFB signal output and clipping
• FFB linear scaling
• Purposely clipping of the FFB signal as to have a wider range for useful FFB

Mostly on pages 2 and 3

If any of those felt too alien for you, I'll happily give it another shot at explaining them and the reasons why you or anyone else could feel a "lack" of FFB. And chances are better users will probably chime in to share their useful experience and knowledge too, like Greco did.

I hope you realize though this is a public forum, not an individual request or ticket resolution process.

Some degree of banter is unavoidable and can obviously be kept in check my the mods, but discussions naturally evolve and not even the OP gets to dictate it. You sharing your experience with the lack of FFB on here is bound to get a reaction of those that do get a fair deal out of the game in its current state, and users gathering to discuss the potential reasons for that divergence is the quintessential part of a public board.

Hope you get the right message out of it and actually get to tweak your settings as your short description suggests you're getting FFB clipping, as discussed in here.

The issues you're referring to are bugs.
The thread would have taken a wholly different direction if you had made yourself clear from the get go instead of instigating what many took as a general conversation, in the general discussing board, about the general state of the FFB in F1 23 - all evidenced by the 4 pages long discussion on all things FFB.

Hope you come around and realize what went on and why, and how many of the posts here can be helpful for the community as a whole, and chill with everyone else a bit.

Settings were shared, tech was broken down and general guidance for setting it simracing equipment properly. Even David Greco, the man behind the physics and handling of this franchise for more years than I can count, was selfless enough to log in and share his take and advice - the very man that crafted the very FFB system you're having trouble getting to work properly was here giving advice on how to get the most out of it, perhaps give it a shot once the wheel issues get patched out on whatever platform you play on.
