a working controller gamepad vibration on pc

I have found a solution to making vibration work on my xbox controller. If I connect my controller to my pc and then launch the game, it doesn't vibrate. If I close, completely shut down, the controller and reconnect the controller while in the game. Vibration works again as suppose to.
