Promotion will depend on the number of points vs others, so if everyone is experiencing the same as you this won't be an issue. Bear in mind the base game was only released today which should help with participation numbers. Personally I want to have played the game a bit more before trying ranked, and others may be focusing on Braking Point of F1 World for now but will turn to multiplayer in time. Just thinking of reasons ranked participation is likely to increase rather than the point system necessarily needing reviewing just yet.

It just becomes pot luck in time to make it to the end. I would accept it if it was only make it into gold as that would be as bad. But to have both gold then elite on top of that is a joke. Peop[le will either cheat or boost to get into that division, on top of time constraints where people have a lot more time to play than others. Just a * trophy not thought through atleast something like making a max tech car wouldve been fine and kept people coming back to F1 World which is what they wanted in the first place.

Well, the points system could surely use some tweaking. I got 68 points for P8 or so in my first race, then I was on my way to P4, but a car in front of me made a mistake in the final lap, spun around in a turn and my car got hit, resulting in a DNF - and I lost 60 points?!? In the third race, I managed to end up on P3 and got 50-something points, so now I'm at 61 oder 63 or so. Had I only played my first race, I'd still have more points then I have now, even though I've had a much better result in my third race. And a racing incident like in my 2nd race can always happen, but shouldn't be penalized that hard.
