FUEL modes in races
Ea removed the fuel settings in F1’21 after some rule change was made where you could not change your engine settings after Qualify. But this had nothing to do with this F1 rule! F1 drivers nowadays can change alot of settings in the race. Like fuel en ERS modes. And team radio’s you hear the engineers telling the drivers to change a ERS mode or Fuel mode. Give us (back) the option to save fuel in a race, and re-use it more if we want to overtake or something. As long as you don’t use more then the maximum fuel you are allowed to use in a race, or in a hour, we should be able to adjust it as we want.1.1KViews1like6CommentsAI-generated commentator voices to announce our names and those of MyTeam team
Now that the technology exists, what would be very interesting would be to have a voice generated by an AI with the voice of the commentators but only, and I insist on the "only" to announce the name of the player and the Myteam team. The voice would thus simply read the names for us and the Myteam team that we entered in the game and this would allow everyone to have their own name and that of their team in audio rather than the predefined nicknames which absolutely do not suit me. It would make the game much more immersive and I attach great importance to that.1.1KViews3likes4CommentsMy ideal world of F1 24
Let me walk you through a detailed description of my ideal world of the next F1 game iteration, F1 24. 1. Starting off with career mode - the front and centre, trademark of the F1 game franchise. Obviously little has been introduced recently to career mode, leaving players and content creators alike, feeling less than enthused. While there are many things that career mode needs, here a few big changes present in my ideal world of F1 24: MyTeam Two Player Career Mode - I think it’s fair to say, that the two most loved changes to recent F1 games has been MyTeam career mode along with Two Player career mode. A recipe for success, joining these two modes together has given players a replenished career mode experience, with both players being free to take the team of their dreams to the top of the sport. What’s more, is that this new mode has greatly added to the overall intrigue of two player career, with players now not only competing with one another on the track, but also in terms of facility, teammate, car development and acclaim management. Create your own engine supplier - this addition to career mode has brought in a wave of new and excited players, eager to create, develop and supply their powertrains to their competitors, adding a further layer of management, research and development, as well as jeopardy to the experience. With players now working hard to build their own power unit from scratch, imaginations are running wild as they seek new ways to improve their engines, and their relationships with customer teams. The merge of F1 World and MyTeam career mode - With the newly-introduced concept of F1 World, merged with the pre-existing MyTeam mode, players are enjoying an added layer of depth to MyTeam journey. With the ability to hire team principals, strategists, and R&D staff, the rate at which team acclaim, appearance and performance have been vastly changed. With team principals being able to affect the overall dynamic of the team, strategists able to affect the quality of strategies and practice programs, and heads of R&D able to affect the rate and effectiveness of improving car performance, the ups and downs of life as an F1 team manager are only exacerbated. 2. Online & Multiplayer The online multiplayer sections of the recent F1 games have been largely underwhelming in the eyes of many players, however in my ideal world of F1 24, a buck has been put to this trend. Ranked - A foolproof anticheat system has been implemented into F1 24, finally allowing ranked players to race free of concern of others cheating. Upon entering into a ranked lobby, the files of each user’s game is scanned, making sure the car performance details are all in check. Moreover, 5-lap races make their welcome return in F1 24, giving players with limited time the chance to make progress in ranked without devoting too much of their day to the task. Splitscreen - The introduction of split screen career modes is an exciting new addition to F1 24, with players now able to take on the full career mode experience on the same console or PC. Players can choose between driver or MyTeam career, whilst racing each other to the glory of the Formula 1 world championship. Split screen career mode has made playing the game with friends more accessible and more enjoyable, while providing a memorable experience for all players. League racing - The implementation of a better league racing system has greatly boosted the quality of F1 24’s leagues. With players now able to join new leagues through either tailored match-making based on safety rating, timezone, and skill level, or through filters such as experience, league size, or length through/of current season. The renewed ability to use the F1 24 cars in a league, provides a more authentic league racing experience, on top of the pre-existing player car option. Finally, the addition of contracts, and the option to switch between and negotiate with different teams has left league racers excited to jump into the game mode more. 3. F1 World Series - The series challenges have been altered going into F1 24, with players being able to alter the difficulty of races, resulting on increased or decreased rewards towards the F1 World car, based on AI difficulty. Classic cars have made their highly welcomed return to the F1 franchise through F1 World, with a number of series challenges requiring players to master the skills of driving classic F1 cars, earning them vital insight, cash and other perks, critical to F1 World series progression. Single Player & Multiplayer Grand Prix Mode - The highly acclaimed Grand Prix Mode of the F1 game franchise has had an upgrade going into F1 24, with players now able to race supercars against both the AI, against each other in multiplayer Grand Prix Mode. The same goes for the new classic cars reintroduced in F1 24, with players given the option to get behind the wheel of these special pieces of machinery. Moreover, players now have the choice to either create their own driver to play as in Grand Prix Mode, just as they would in a regular career mode, or to use any of the official 2024 F1 drivers. As our tour through my ideal world of F1 24 comes to an end, I’d greatly appreciate if you provided your own thoughts about these changes below. And if you like this imagination of what F1 24 would look like, feel free to upvote this page so that the developers can see that you agree with it too. Additionally, I sincerely hope the developers of F1 24 consider this ideal imagination of F1 24, and can see the potential behind each section to my version of F1 24, and can consider the benefits to following to what my ideal version of F1 24 has above. I greatly appreciate your time reading through my ideal world of F1 24. I am excited to see what the developers can do with the game moving forward. Hello All, I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I wanted to make a direct appeal to Codemasters regarding the multiplayer trophies for this game. Previous entries in the series were much more reasonable albeit time consuming for their most difficult/ grindy trophies as described below: F1 21 - Finish 100 races in online multiplayer F1 22 - Finish 100 races in online multiplayer And in F1 24 these kinds of trophies were largely scrapped. However, it should be pointed out the ability to get the F1 23 multiplayer trophies in ranked multiplayer will only become more and more difficult as time passes. I'm sure many of you have noticed that finding players in Ranked multiplayer servers is hard, especially when playing in higher divisions. At some point there will not be enough players available to achieve the Elite Racer and Golden Touch trophies. Codemasters, can you please consider implementing a future patch that will allow for the ability to play against AI players (or possibly ghosts of real players) to achieve the multiplayer trophies or at least change the requirements of these trophies to be in line with prior years (Finish XX number races in online multiplayer)? Doing so would still allow for the current F1 World Ranked Division to remain as is. Ideally all F1 games could have offline obtainable platinums that will still be available following inevitable server closures. Also, another point of consideration is that some players may not be ready to purchase F1 24 if they are still stuck trying to platinum older entries in the series before server closures instead of trying out the new games Thanks for your time and consideration702Views0likes1CommentBring back classic cars for F1 24
Classic cars were a fantastic addition in F1 2017, F1 2018, F1 2019 and F1 2020. We miss them dearly ☹️ I know it's impossible to add them back into F1 23 but please Codies consider them for F1 24! IMHO the game should definitely evolve by adding, not by removing content. Thank you.6.4KViews14likes4CommentsAdd a transparency slider for the halo column.
For those racing in cockpit cam, having the option to remove the halo column is a godsend. 😄 However, it'd be great to have an option to have it semi-transparent (yes/no) or a slider similar to that for HUD elements. Ideally, this would include a bit more of the halo such as the cameras, as on some cars they take up quite a chunk of the view.1KViews6likes3CommentsQuality of Life Improvements
Hi guys, I don't know what you guys think about it, or what the developers EA SPORTS think about it, but I think that this is the only way to fix F1 23 for good. I have suggestions for Quality of Life improvements. In case you don't know what it means, it's an update that further optimizes the game and fixes some bugs, maybe adding a bit more content, e.g. new liveries for My Team and F1 World. Anyway, the QoL improvements that I would like to see is this: The most important one in my opinion. Bring back Nyck de Vries. The main reason why I want him back is because he has a section in the compendium which ultimately becomes useless and unnecessary because he's not a part of the grid. Also, he drove more races in the real life season than Daniel Ricciardo or Liam Lawson, both of which were his replacements. And I suggested that for the entire lifetime ever since the Daniel Ricciardo update. Just add Daniel Ricciardo to the roster of free agents so other teams can hire him in Career mode and keep de Vries at AlphaTauri. Otherwise, every new career is completely unrealistic because Nyck de Vries is missing. Almost as important as the first one, and that is to equalize the top speed of the F1 cars. It is certainly possible to reach 370+ KPH on tracks like Monza and Las Vegas. But when cars powered by Mercedes power units can only go 350 and the Red Bull can go 370, things become insanely unfair. League Racing is being destroyed because of that, because nobody wants to join a Mercedes powered team, meaning there are always 8 free spots because nobody wants to be slower than everyone else. And I'm well aware that the car is not everything in F1, but it's garbage if you lose races because you have no top speed unlike the others. If the Pitcoin shop gets disabled like in most older F1 games, there has to be a way to get the customization items in the store without Pitcoins. My suggestion is to make these items purchasable with the cash you earn in F1 World, and the cost would be 2k per 100 Pitcoins (e.g. 150,000 Cash for an item for 7,500 Pitcoins). This gives players an actual incentive to grind out F1 World. I already mentioned it in an F1 24 suggestion, and it would be nice if it was integrated into both games. Since Lewis Hamilton said himself in real life that he will stay in F1 until he gets his eighth title (and trust me, I saw that myself), it would be great if Lewis Hamilton gets a retirement immunity in Career modes. I have seen saves in which he retired after one season, which makes no sense considering he still has that fire in him that makes him want to go on until he reached his goal. Maybe a new track. I've been waiting for a modern F1 game with the Nürburgring or Hanoi, both of which are impressive tracks. Whatever track makes the cut, I want to see it in F1 24 as well. Fixing the remaining bugs, especially one that had me stop playing My Team, which is getting an engine failure with Standard fault types, which is supposed to prevent it from happening. This is the only way to get F1 23 back to what it was at launch, and who knows? Maybe EA SPORTS will take the suggestions to heart and give F1 23 the last big treatment to finally make it a great F1 game. Let's hope for the best. Good day, Nico494Views0likes0CommentsChat-GPT Commentary/AI modelled commentating
Something I would pay a premium for... is actual option for commentary. Use AI modelling to get it to commentate based on data from crofty/others to speak in a manner like them and license the commentators voices to allow it to give live race commentary using real voices. This way its not the same repetitive commentary seen in current sports games but dynamic and different for race/session. EA could apply this to all their sports games FIFA/NBA/NHL. This feature if developed and used is innovative and exciting.2.6KViews2likes7Comments
