Are we sure driver contracts were fixed?

@pekish79 Were you able to tell from the start or did you have to do 22 quick races to find out if the contract dates were right?

@AquaOrenji Just watched YouTuber Tom97 latest career video at Vegas. With Abu Dhabi obviously being his next race. Although he didn’t show it in his video. He mentioned in his commentary that he would have added post race… that it had been fixed.

@ScarDuck14 Thanks for the hope, Scar. I'm at COTA right now after slowing my progress to a crawl to get this patch out. I'm thinking I'll just blow through the final five races and hope for the best. Hopefully it works, at worst I have to start a new save (twenty three 50% races down the drain), but something tells me if it doesn't work, maybe it'll take in the 2nd season--that's what I tell myself about the sponsors on the uniforms that only seem to apply on the DNF cutscene. *wtf*

@AquaOrenji I’ll be deleting my save game file and restarting from fresh. Although with a lot off bugs still to be fixed… Motivation is somewhat lacking 😔😤

@wildwestcowboy Yup. As there’s no tangible changes to careers modes from last year. Only thing that compels me to play is the better handling physics.

@ScarDuck14 I've given up on past F1 games with less than half the time invested and nary a peep on the forums to show for it over similarly ridiculous oversights and displays of incompetence. I'm so vocal this time because I actually like the driving model. I like how the game feels, and unlike the poor budget wheel crowd, my wheel has never felt better in game. Dare I say, I like this game for the first time in years! But the sheer craven attitude by the devs to release this slop in this state... if you're going to perfect the handling and totally bork the rest, I'd sooner go play rFactor 2.

That said, 23, soon to be 24 50% races is the most time I've given a CM game since 2019. The handling bought a lot of benefit of doubt, but it's about to run out. I didn't do those races just to say "Well now I know how to play, let's do it for real this time!" No, if I have to abandon this save, this time, the save will be the least of what I abandon of this franchise.

All I want is a cool and peaceful career mode where I don't have to create my own workarounds to compensate for the professionals' lack of professionalism in their craft. For their sake, the patch better apply to save games.

@ScarDuck14 So I just watched Tom's video and I'm kinda scared that he was just presuming that the bug was fixed, the way he worded it. I'm gonna be gnawing my nails to the bone waiting for his video tomorrow--half-expecting him to say "Yea about what I said yesterday, my bad guys lol!"

I hate when the youtubers leave us on a cliffhanger. Ugh.
