@ajmcspursfan Both career modes are just bad this year. Hard to give you any actual advice. If you use controller I can help but have no experience with a wheel. Do you use assists?
Is there really such a big difference between grand prix mode and career this year? Thats a real shame if so!
Yeah I use controller, i have anti lock on but not braking assists or steering assists. TC is on medium as i tend to like the car move about a bit
@ajmcspursfanJust a suggestion with steering go to controller settings. Increase steering rate/speed to max 160. Add up to 5 on both linearity and deadzone. Faster steering rate helps catch the car when oversteering. Also increase accelerator linearity to 50+.
Never drop below 3rd unless you really have to.
Don’t know what the exact issue with career modes are. But for whatever reason they suck the big one this year. I’ve never given up on myteam before and play it all year round. But this year I’ve gone so far as to delete the game off my console.Theres been an issue with controller and accelerating out off slow corners. Was widely reported to codemasters but they say they can’t find an issue. But There really is. 🤷🏻♂️
@ajmcspursfanAlso there is speculation that there is a different/Easier handling model used in the F1 World section off the game compared to career modes. I don’t know how much that is true as I’ve only really used Career modes. But on the occasion I’ve tried F1 world which includes GP seems a whole lot easier
If that speculation is true, that is incredibly disapointing. I have only used F1 world to unlock the Mclaren special livery and to do GP mode. Such a shame if they have really made career/my team so much harder for no reason. I am a normal career mode player, I dont use my team.

@ScarDuck14Is there a known problem with Bahrain in general? I only ask as i attempted a race in GP mode and i was still having the same sort of problems even with your controller set up. I wonder if its bahrain spercific? I was watching a youtube video and they were also talking abou how badly they struggle in bahrain?
