Bahrain struggles
I have recently started playing the F1 23 game regulary and I am enjoying it for the most part. The traction issue from F1 22 has gone thankfully, and for most of the laps I have done its been a very...
If that speculation is true, that is incredibly disapointing. I have only used F1 world to unlock the Mclaren special livery and to do GP mode. Such a shame if they have really made career/my team so much harder for no reason. I am a normal career mode player, I dont use my team.
I will give your controller settings a try and see if that helps. Thank you.
Who knew providing a useable and playable F1 game was so hard...
@ScarDuck14Is there a known problem with Bahrain in general? I only ask as i attempted a race in GP mode and i was still having the same sort of problems even with your controller set up. I wonder if its bahrain spercific? I was watching a youtube video and they were also talking abou how badly they struggle in bahrain?
@ajmcspursfanIt’s hard to say. If you’re talking about exiting slow corners. It happens on most tracks. Some worse than others. Bahrain, Baku, Mexico, Canada probably the worst. Maybe a few others that I can’t think off, off the top off my head.
Then you also have issues where randomly on tracks come second half off race the Ai get a top end sleed buff and we get a nerf. Also second half of race Ai damage turns off. They know this is an issue as I’ve sent the dev team through EA plenty of deep dive evidence. But nothing has been or will be done about it now. Then you have upgrades failing. I had 8 in a row across all departments despite all being 10-15% failure chance.
One thing is clear F1 world got all the development budget and despite the handling been massively improved it only seems to apply to F1 World and multiplayer.
It’s as though the balancing changes that was said to have been made in careers before launch wasn’t given resources to properly test it. Careers this year is by far the worst part off the game imo and I hate F1 world with passion
The corners do get easier once you’ve made numerous chassis and aero upgrades.
Its incredibly dishearting that the game is in this state. F1 World is the most pointless addition since F1 Life (joke intended). I think an event i did earlier sums it up. I wanted to unlock a haas livery and special helmet so i did the 'challenge' yet you are able to adjust the difficulty level, so i just set it to zero. If you can do that why not just give us that stuff without all this silly F1 world stuff.
Ill keep trying your advice and having a trial at different things, its such a shame though. I wonder if any set ups help a little bit? Obviously the higher downforce set up you can select helped a bit but i was useless in a straight line.
Like i say, its so frustrating
@ajmcspursfanI have a few (conspiracy) theories. And as I have no hard data to back it up, take with a huge pinch of salt. I think the adding F1 World, primarily the different events that have various objectives. May have produced unforeseen conflicts with code relating to on track gameplay in careers. Then as I said before that the minor balancing changes in career modes did more harm than good in the modes progression. Lastly with the new handling model and tyre wear and grip physics, I wonder if cars performance upgrades in career are also causing issues. As career wasn’t given any love. Only noticeable change I see, is all tyre wear upgrades were given a buff. So maybe the grip issue could be that🤷🏻♂️. But like I say. No hard data just nearly 400 hours off increasing frustration playing my team.
Anyhow personally I’d love both career modes to have F1 2020s base code with its properly balanced progression F1 22 Bonkers aggressive Ai and F1 23 Handling and Tyre physics. Game would almost be perfect in my eyes
