Bahrain struggles

I have recently started playing the F1 23 game regulary and I am enjoying it for the most part. The traction issue from F1 22 has gone thankfully, and for most of the laps I have done its been a very enjoyable game to play. I have found one problem and I was wondering if i could get some advice or hear if others have the same problem.

I have been playing F1 games for over 20 years but I am not someone who gets bogged down in set up. I just enjoy pretending to be an F1 driver and whilst I do like a challange (long gone are the days where you could win in any car) I do like to balance that with 'pick up and play'. I have just started a career mode with Alfa Romeo and whilst the car at Bahrain in practice and quali didnt feel great I had enough pace to out qualify my team mate and line up 13th. The race is a whole different ball game as its like driving on ice. Every corner my car is oversteering and I am losing a second a lap to the AI. When I have done races on various circuits in Grand Prix mode I have not had this problem at all, and like i said have had some very enjoyable races against the AI. I was just wondering if Bahrain is a 'bugged' circuit, if others are like this or If i am just being increcdibly stupid and doing something wrong?

Any help or advice would be really appreciated!

  • @ajmcspursfanYour starting a New season so you need to up grade your car this takes some time.
The number that is 63 which is on or off diff in setup needs to be lower somewhere between 57 to 52imo. I'd suggest 55 then adjust from there, if your still oversteering lower it if not you might get away with more.
Run downforce as low as ya can till you can upgrade.
Im not really playing this much at this time.

Side note...no worries with the message I dont check the boards as I use too
