Breaking point and AI level

@peter75pc I'm finding it difficult to wrap my head around the AI levels. On F1 World the AI level is fixed at 31 iirc and the difficulty is set by the Tech Level. In some instances (e.g. GP), you can increase or decrease the Tech Level in relation to yours but on others (e.g. Series) you cannot.

In Braking Point you can only set one of those 3 difficulty levels. Since I'm forced to play on a controller I don't know how easy or hard those are. I set it to the middle one and that's that.

The "classic" AI level seems to only be relevant in career mode if I'm not mistaken. Again, I can't use my wheel so I'm not doing any career stuff so I don't know how that is balanced. The only thing I read in the forums is that quali pace is different from race pace but I can't confirm or deny this.

@peter75pc Yup Ai is around 21 levels however even more timid. The one thing I did enjoy about 22 was the bonkers mental Ai.

As for braking point 2 finished it last night and yes it’s pretty much scripted throughout. I’ve watch a few YouTubers braking point videos who are extremely faster than me. But when given objective to pass teammate by lap 9 or similar, I caught my teammate at the same point on the track on the same lap. Then cut scene of crash. Then back to menu to read a load off pointless social media posts 🤷🏻‍♂️

I saw this tech level somewhere. I have no idea what it will do. I don’t do any online racing, so ignored it when it was discussed on youtube.
I guess I’ll just have to have a look when I want to do a championship at GP level.
Too confusing for old people like me.
I guess Breaking Point will have to be middle of the road like BP1.
