Bug in F1 2023 Game - Indestructible Car Issue in Las Vegas Track

Bug in F1 2023 Game - Indestructible Car Issue in Las Vegas Trac

Hello fellow gamers,

I wanted to reach out to the community regarding a persistent bug I've encountered while playing F1 2023 on the PlayStation 4. Specifically, I've been experiencing a game-breaking issue on the Las Vegas track during rainy conditions, specifically when attempting to use the flashback feature after an accident.

Whenever I trigger the flashback to revert to the previous situation, the game becomes glitched. The car becomes completely indestructible, rendering it impervious to any damage. This bug significantly impacts the race as it disrupts the overall gameplay experience.

I would like to inquire if any of you have encountered a similar problem while playing F1 2023 on the PlayStation 4. It would be helpful to determine whether this is an isolated issue or a widespread bug affecting multiple players.

Furthermore, if any of you have found a solution or workaround to this problem, please share your insights and experiences. I'm eager to find a resolution to this issue in order to enjoy a seamless and immersive gaming experience on the Las Vegas track.

Thank you in advance for your contributions and support. Your expertise and suggestions will undoubtedly help us address this bug and ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for all Formula 1 enthusiasts.

Happy racing!

  • @imaspes Seems from what I can tell it’s every track not just Vegas. Have been trying different things to find workaround as it also makes AI cars indestructible. But as far I’ve not found anything remotely working other than not using flashbacks which is easier said than done. Especially if like me and have attention span off a two year old 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, buddy, it's frustrating. I had this experience on other tracks as well. The strange thing is that it didn't happen on some others.

And here's another bug discovered. This one is as frustrating as the Mercedes engine, except for McLaren, which can't go beyond 351 km/h.

I don't know about you, but here in Brazil, the game cost a little over 100 US dollars, which is quite a lot for us using the Brazilian Real currency.

The game as a whole is far from any concept of excellence. I can only imagine the players who are having problems with the wheel and pedals. They invest a significant amount of money in that, and the creators simply don't seem to care.

Microtransactions seem to be more important than satisfying players by earning things through their own merit.

Anyway, we hope that at some point EA will release a definitive patch—not that it will solve everything because they've already proven they can't—but at least it won't be so frustrating.

@imaspes Yeah the Mercedes bug. That is If it’s a bug and not a weird by design choice. Has been reported. What action if any that’s being taken I have no clue.

As for Supercar bug. I flagged a post from someone else last week and now your post. As more reports on same issue helps. Just heard from QA it’s going to be investigated and hopefully fixed.

As an older person. I hate micro transactions. Especially when they are shoehorned into Games that is detrimental to game and user experience
