Can I play F1 23 without Steam?
I bought it from a shop to avoid Steam but when I launch the game it launches from Steam.
Steam VR keeps crashing so I'd like to start the game and play it from the desktop using my Quest 2 and PC Link cable.

The EA store or Epic has a version of the game, but I believe Steam/Open VR is the supported VR implementation regardless.
Even if you bought a physical version of the game, it will still have a delivery mechanism and the last time I had a physical copy, it used Steam.

It's weird that I can play other VR games using Steam but it's F123 that it keeps failing on.
I'll keep searching for a solution then...in the meantime, mid-session save every couple of laps...lol
