Can progress transfer between EA App and Steam?

Currently I am playing F1 23 on the EA App with EA Play Pro. If I buy the game for steam can I transfer any purchases with pitcoins and my profile save from EA on to the steam version of the game? ...

it should transfer because you need to use youre ea account to log into the game from steam anyway

    @Killergamer0658So do I need to have the EA App running as well as steam every time I play the game? Seems annoying having to start both programs every time

      @FG44141 No, EA App is not a requirement for the Steam version, and it is my understanding that the progress is separate between the EA and Steam versions of the game as the save location of the files is different.

        pitcoins and other purchases should remain because i think theyre linked to the ea email but you could just set the install location on steam to the same place the ea one is saved
