car hitting rev limiter too easily

I just don't know why but please don't say it's supposed to be this way. there is definitely something odd in the way in every track with long straights (las vegas especially, but also monza, spa etc.) car hits the rev limiter, the engine is screaming like crazy and my ears ache after a 50% race in spa. please do something, because of course that is not the case in real life, and in  f1 22 we didn't have this kind of behaviour

  • @DrCarter33 In career mode I picked Aston Martin and my car toped out at 218 MPH (350 KPH) when I started my career. Now that I’m in my second season and have a lot of Engine Power and Aero Drag Reduction upgrades my car still can’t go any faster than 218 (350).

@MPHGp There’s definitely something wrong with the gear ratios of the Mercedes PU (except McLaren), I believe this is the first time in the series where a car reached its limiter way before it reaches its potential top speed

Is Codemasters/EA aware of this problem? I think to less people talk about that, but for me especially in career is really annoying when you hit the rev for example in Monza at half of the straight already.

It’s like 2019, but this time in the opposite. Definitely something that needs to be fixed because it’s really unrealistic when your car screams like the engine has revs like in the early 2000s.
