Controller vibrates randomly
Product: F1 23
Platform:Xbox Series X
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Controller (tried Xbox One, Xbox Elite Series 1 and Xbox Seires X controllers) vibrates randomly on specific areas of the track. Something specific triggers this bug, since sometimes it takes a few races/laps for it to start happening constantly. Happens on every mode except Time Trial. Changing FFB settings doesn’t help unless you turn them off complitely. The vibration is pretty strong no matter what the settings are.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? DHPA-PBTV-SXGA-GCJG
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider?
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea why I seem to be the only one here having this bug. To me it just happens every time I play the game. Regardless of what settings I use, unless I disable ffb complitely.
What happens when the bug occurs? Controller and both triggers vibrate aggressively on specific parts of the track, most noticeably on straights, every lap once the bug is triggered. The vibration feels the same as wheel spin or wheel lockup. If this happens under braking or acceleration it’s messes up the feel complitely.
What do you expect to see? A fix.
Also, Increasing ride height doesn’t have an impact. Doesn’t happen on Time Trial.
EDIT: Clip of the issue:
EDIT2: The issue is caused by other cars’ ffb being reflected on my car. Meaning when AI cars collide with each other, the ffb that the collision produces is being sent to my car and to my controller. On the straights on high speeds other cars being near me usually vibrates my controller as well.
