Drivers DNF After Leaving/Lagging Out From Online Lobby

Platform:Xbox Series X

Summarize your bug Drivers are getting DNF when they leave/lag out of an online lobby
What is your 16 digit Report Code? N/A
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? BT
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start an online lobby. Have a driver leave/lag out.
What happens when the bug occurs? Drivers car gets DNF.
What do you expect to see? Driver cars shouldn't DNF and should still be allowed to takeover when they've rejoined the lobby.

Massive issue for league racing and will force unneeded lobby restarts due to drivers getting DNF by leaving/lagging out of the lobby.

    Bumping this up again as I can't believe anyone else hasn't come across this issue yet!

    @tjmartin-92 I can confirm the same, it didn't happen to me personally, but to several drivers in test races in my league. It was crossplay enabled and I would have to check which platforms these drivers were on.

    @zombie182 I've also not has this happen to me but we've seen it loads throughout our preseason social races. It's mainly happening to our Xbox players than anyone else.

    Don't suppose you know if you had On for greifing enabled? We suspected it might be that causing the issue but if you've got it off maybe it's another crossplay issue?

    @tjmartin-92 I've now gone back through all four of the league's test races and it's happened to three drivers.

    first one in Belgium, he is on the xbox.
    second one in Austria, he's on Steam.
    third happened in Spain, he is on PS5.

    So it seems to happen on every platform

    @zombie182 I think its safe to day EA need to investigate the issue as its going be a nightmare for leagues

    Just happened in our lobby aswell. One of the drivers had to disconnect from the lobby because his UI was bugged and got retired from the session, even though he only pressed leave.

    Is this even under investigation @EA_rephii? This is a serious issue which is forcing league race to restart
