It just feels really awful, it is just not fair going such lenghts for a trophy and end up feeling absolutely miserable. For many of us this one came with a toll and that was mainly due to the time invested into a leaderboard that was not going to count for our trophies/achievements even though it indicated elite spots on it, was I supposed to know it would not count ? Nothing indicated that and my goal was reaching the promotion to elite in order to complete the game´s trophy set - by far the most difficult and time consuming task of F1 23 - As a few others did I accepted the challenge and tried my best, I really did... Please if a dev is reading this and can do something about it please do ! It would mean a lot to all of us, thank you.

Sorry for bumping the thread but I can´t help myself from thinking about this entire situation that happened to us. With all due respect but I want to try being constructive and helpful about it, even though as I said before this was largely unfortunate and unfair.
I am no programmer and I have no idea if that is even possible, apparently we all received special car livery and suit reserved for those players able to reach elite rank (and that is a positive) but neither of us unlocked the trophy/achievement for reaching said rank; now here is an idea: How about if in the next patch we get able to unlock the trophy/achievement by simply equiping said livery/suit that we already earned by right ? Is that possible ? That solution would not harm anyone because only the players with this perks unlocked would be able to do it. Please tell me you are working on something, like I said before just trying to be constructive here. @ScarDuck14 can you please forward this suggestion to the devs ? Thank you !

This issue has been passed to the team so they will be investigating it as it’s clearly a bug. As for when it will be fixed we won’t know until it’s fixed.
But I’ll tag @EA_Groguet as he can pass your suggestion on. I’m just the unpaid help 😁. I don’t have the power 😔

Just saw the news about the maintence works on the server scheduled on August 21th - fingers crossed - hopefully something good comes out of that. Meanwhile I thought I should add some photos about the special livery/suit that was mentioned earlier and that we all earned and received inside our "in-game mailbox" as the result of last week´s elite promotion (which apparently did not count for other purposes), so here goes.
And the last photo, in total 4 itens that I imagine only players that where able to reach elite have on their inventory, hopefully this will contribute with a fix for us to be able to earn the correspondent trophy/achievement.
