Sorry for bumping the thread but I can´t help myself from thinking about this entire situation that happened to us. With all due respect but I want to try being constructive and helpful about it, even though as I said before this was largely unfortunate and unfair.
I am no programmer and I have no idea if that is even possible, apparently we all received special car livery and suit reserved for those players able to reach elite rank (and that is a positive) but neither of us unlocked the trophy/achievement for reaching said rank; now here is an idea: How about if in the next patch we get able to unlock the trophy/achievement by simply equiping said livery/suit that we already earned by right ? Is that possible ? That solution would not harm anyone because only the players with this perks unlocked would be able to do it. Please tell me you are working on something, like I said before just trying to be constructive here. @ScarDuck14 can you please forward this suggestion to the devs ? Thank you !

This issue has been passed to the team so they will be investigating it as it’s clearly a bug. As for when it will be fixed we won’t know until it’s fixed.
But I’ll tag @EA_Groguet as he can pass your suggestion on. I’m just the unpaid help 😁. I don’t have the power 😔

This issue has been escalated and it is being currently investigated. Thank you all for your reports and suggestions. For now, I don't have more info, but as soon as I know something or I have an update about this matter I will let you know.

I get the trophy via server updateJust a word of warning as well as I know some people who's achievement didn't pop last weekend might not race this week as they'll hope EA manage to bring out a fix but from experience if you miss 2 consecutive weeks you'll also drop a rank I found this out halfway through last season dropping down from Gold to Silver. So figured i'd let people just incase we never get the fix and we all have to end up getting to elite again...

@ScarDuck14 Can we please get an update on this issue? Looking at the list of community raised issues for F1 23 there is no mention of this still. The list I am referring to is here:
A lot of people are affected by this and a lot of people spent a whole lot of time racing to achieve this only to be let down when the achievement/trophy didn't unlock. This should be treated as a priority but hey at least "Incorrect effect on Ferrari halo" is being investigated as a new issue, am I right? C'mon...

@EA_Groguet still no fix with the latest patch. Can you please provide an update? Thank you.
Would be great to have an official statement on this, preferably a definitive statement on if it will be fixed or not, but also more specifically if they are just fixing it for future end of season rank ups, or are also going to compensate those of us who didn't get the trophy.
Disappointing to hear that despite the issue being escalated and investigated, it wasn't even put on the 'investigating' list on the patch notes.
I recommend everyone to just to attempt to go for this trophy again before the season ends in case it never gets fixed. As players decline, it could get harder or easier to get to elite, we really don't know.
