@EA_Groguet @ScarDuck14 so after giving up waiting for incompetent EA to fix the issue, I grinded out Elite promotion a second time and received the Elite Racer trophy. However, I didn't get Season 2 rewards. I received the in game email, open it, tried to claim, got taken to a screen saying I had earned 0 Pit Coin, and then nothing. No in game rewards.
Based on my recent experience, this thread, and previous experience with EA, I know this will come as a big ask but... Can you fix your game? Why do I have no rewards after grinding this out for a second time? Can you give me a refund or compensation for time spent with this mess of a game?
@F123EliteRacer I also got 0 pitcoin as a reward. Yet another problem.
Generally speaking now, the trophy/achievement isn't even the problem now. I understand that it's not typically something that takes priority in bug fixes, but the problem is just the shocking lack of communication and willingness to listen to player feedback about the ranked mode and online in general. No wonder the player count is declining. I think it's typical EA though at this point, lackluster games each year that don't add anything new or build upon the problems of the previous year. We don't care about couch customisation. We want to race FORMULA cars, new and classic, and not hate playing online with other people. Take notes from GT7 EA.
Waiting on further update as the season has now refreshed and there were several players, me included. Who were grinding for elite last week. I stopped after i cane across this thread
@ScarDuck14 do you know why the season has been extended by 2 weeks? AFAIK I saw no announcement this would happen, or even a tweet afterwards telling people. Many people stopped playing due to the bug, and now there are 2 more weeks left that's created more problems.
- @CosmoWolf33 Not a clue, I turned off game mode when the timer had 30,minutes left: Came on here a few hours later. And replied to a post telling someone he was wring the season had just ended., Yup I was obviously wrong, I only get told after the fact. As you know Codemasters don’t like or know how to communicate these days.
I’m going to take a punt and say they have delayed it because they have decided they want the new season to start when they release the sports update and F2 23. As that should be about ready to drop. So maybe they have something planned: 🤷🏻♂️Or it could simply be they want to get on top of the games problems before adding anything further that could cause issue.

wonder what is actually gonna be fixed... they may very well fix the season rollover day, but not too hopeful about retroactively unlocking Elite Racer for people who it glitched on.Just a FYI: I just unlocked the trophy.
I work fulltime, however last week my main job was this game.
Really hope they change the trophy for next year or remove ranked trophys entirely
Managed to get that done a second time and finally unlock the trophy by myself.
EA/Codemasters left us hanging since mid summer. No interested to fix the game, No communication. No excuses!
Wasn't there supposed to be Season 2 Elite cosmetics? Pickep up 3 things from my inbox + 0 PitCoins, but can't seem to find them in my inventory. Can someone at least take a picture for me? Curious to see how they look like.

I,m not sure about the unlocks since I haven't checked it yet (don't care much about them anyway). @spirosbvb I think everyone who got to Elite got no rewards (the only screen being one that said 0 pitcoin) so you're not alone. Joke of a game
