Ranked lobbies, Miami 5 cars. Start P4, finish P3. Zero track limits or warnings of any kind. -2 points? What's the point of playing the game?

Before this race I was in a lobby with 5, as the lobby loaded 2 left. At the start of the race another left and before the end of lap 1 the 4th left, leaving me the only one in the lobby. I retired after 1 and a half laps and got 11 points.
Is '24 going to be a broken as '23? They refuse to address any concerns with Ranked lobbies, ignoring all post about it.

Not really sure what happened with this one and how it awarded points, but in general most people tend to avoid doing lobbies with randoms. Either you end up with quitters or dirty drivers, especially when the game is nearing the end of its life cycle and people feel they have less to lose.
If you're really only interested in racing online against humans as opposed to AI in career mode, I would suggest trying to find a league of some sort to join.
Yeah, I'm a husband and a dad. I get an hour here or an hour there. That's why when I have time Ranked is where I go.
@FionnlaghM I feel your pain, but I don't know if I can offer a decent solution.
