extremely bad game breaking ps4 glitch please help

Summarize your bug Myself and another league racer once in awhile get a glitch we are both on original ps4 where in a league race with short qualifying then 50% race, after qualifying is done and the game says press X to advance. pressing X does nothing. Then once on the grid for the race no buttons do anything. Only option is to restart the game and come back. This just ruined a league race for me in the last hour where I qualified 2nd. This has happened to me in a few league races in the last couple months. It is very terrible please fix this. There may be a link to finishing the last qual lap when qual timer is past zero i think i may noticed a connection with doing this and then no button repsonses on controller after qual is done. like you when start last qual lap with less than a minute left in qual and time runs out in the middle of the lap. happens in cross play multiplayer lobby.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? multiplayer grand prix lobby with many drivers. short qualifying then 50% race. just happened to me at silverstone.
What happens when the bug occurs? when qualifying is over and shows the drivers and their times the screen says press x to advance. pressing x does nothing. then when the game gets to the grid to adjust pre race strats, cant push any buttons. nothing. when race starts still no controls. have to restart the game.
What do you expect to see? fix this asap its ruined a few of my league races and others on ps4 but may happen on other consoles too

    here is video of if https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSVhgC75Bz0 8:40 is when button responses stop working. only option to restart the game. even that didnt work this time. i came back during formation lap. race start i briefly had control of car but it was glitched then the game went to spectator mode. so had to leave and come back AGAIN finally got control of car after its weirdly coming out of the pits.

    the few times this happened to me previously the races did not have formation lap so i waited until on the grid but then button presses still did nothing such as adjusting strats etc and then race start still controller not working and i verified with one 2 others on ps4 getting this exact same glitch so its not something im doing wrong such as bad connection or bad controller etc. its a game glitch period. this time before even going to the grid when i saw pushing x over and over did nothing i left early to make sure to get back before race started which i did but it was still glitched. briefly giving me control of the car at the race start but then seconds later putting me on specator mode and my car crashes ...

    I think its likely mainly a problem with ps4 version of the game played on original launch type ps4 system. in addition thinking also plays factor doing a really late qual lap when timer is running out. just seems like this glitch happens usually when im doing a really late qual lap. so actually most league races i have been scared almost every race to do a late qual lap because of in fear to get this glitch so this time i risked it and did a nice qual lap 2nd place late BUT THEN i get a race ruining glitch. most previous races i did my last qual lap with like 4 or 5 minutes left. and that seemed to stop me from getting this glitch where button presses do nothing after qualifying..............
