With me, the OSD now works fine. the adjustments are saved nicely, in all modes. (PC player) - Trekari3 years agoRising Hotshot
It's inexcusable for yet another patch to get pushed out and the tyre strategy bug for sprint races - a bug present from F1 22, still has yet to be fixed.
I refunded my purchase because I don't have any faith in you to address this issue, and every patch so far has reinforced my belief. I want to be able to enjoy this year's game, but you keep reminding me of why I gave up on the NHL franchise, because you guys do the same crap.
I understand that most of the developers are probably trying their best, and that these issues are a result of poor management and exceptionally poor quality assurance, but that's little comfort and no excuse.
Whomever is in charge of pushing out this product needs to have more pride in their work and ensure that what you're trying to sell is actually worth the price. The game didn't have to be released on the 16th of June.
I want to be your customer, but it's pretty clear that you guys take us for granted. The only benefit here is that, for me, by the time you take care of the issues (if ever), I'll be able to get the game at a steep discount.
@RashyTOglory234 wrote:@EA_rephii Im actually getting fed up with you and this company it’s been nearly a whole month since the problem appeared of the HORI overdrive wheel not working at all on this years game. Like the wheel has worked on every other game previously. And you have done nothing to try to fix it. You’ve just been ignoring us. You’ve said one thing since we first brought it up and we are looking into it. At first I thought you were looking into but now I don’t think you even care. You should be fixing this issue first and not god Damm career mode driver contracts. Like who cares about that. And if you have a problem with me saying driver contracts are not an important aspect of the game the. Grow up and move on because for a whole month I have been able to play the game that I have spent so much money on. Joke of a game joke of a company
First off, I care. Myself and the many others who play one of F1's longest-standing legacy modes, whom I'm sure far outnumber the users of some bargain bin game controller brand that I wouldn't even know existed if I didn't indulge in this little piece of console trash we affectionately call F1 23. So I suggest you take your own advice and demonstrate a little emotional maturity on the matter--we're all hurting here. And unlike you and your "me me me what about MY issue!" attitude, I care about your issue as much as my issue, and as much as the next guy's issue. Bargain bin--get what you pay for wheel aside, imagine not being able to use a peripheral that is on the supported devices list! Oh wait, you don't have to...
Trying to make sense of Codemasters' priorities is a foolhardy errand at best. That's not how it works. Rest assured, it's not like Codemasters have only one guy working on bug fixes--eating company-subsidized hot pockets in his mother's basement. Whether the patches come in bunches or once a month, any respectable game developer worth their weight in code should be capable of fixing a broad range of issues with the game they themselves developed, no matter of priority or public outcry.
Alas, we're not dealing with a respectable game developer, now are we?
If it makes you feel any better, the contract negotiation bug was NOT fixed. At this point I'm pretty sure they just jot down whatever we cry about the most, put it on their little list of "things to do", sniff eachother's fingers for a couple weeks and then sniff their own for another two, then release this "patch" of overwritten-but-identical files. Then the paid scapegoat who opens this post screams, "LOOK WHAT WE FIXED GUYS! IF YOU NEED US WE'LL BE PLAYING SOMETHING OTHER THAN OUR GAME!" Never to be heard from until next month when the cycle repeats itself. Because what are we on the official forum but the vocal minority in the face of the vast majority who aren't on the official forum and don't complain--surely they're not having the same issues we are, such is codEmAster's apparent logic.
So don't try and prioritize your issue above others, because we're all in this same sinking ship together where none of our issues will be fixed anyway. When you make the awful life-decision to do business with EA/Codemasters, we all lose.
I play F1 2023 on Xbox series s, I use the Logitech g923 there was no issues until after the most recent update, I noticed that the the steering wheel was a little softer/loose and not as pulling like while turning or it wouldn’t get “speed wobbles”. Also, the LSB & RSB buttons would actually work, from what I’ve seen this wasn’t the case on previous steering wheels and/or past games. How ever after the update the LSB / RSB buttons no longer work (they were being used for the MFD menu). The driving part of it is something to get used to since I can actually feel the true force a lot more than before the update. Before the update it would not pull or shake like I mentioned before. I should also add that I did not move the settings around at all it was all noticed after this recent update.
Has any one experienced this as well ? Or am I just crazy ?
thanks in advance and happy racing.- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@Saulc_707 True Force has been disabled by patch what your feeling now is FFB
Okay, thanks for the info! do you happen to know if the use or LSB and RSB buttons also go away in patch ?
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@Saulc_707 Have no idea. Sorry
- tasmangr773 years agoRising Traveler@EA_rephii Well regarding G923 a small step forward... You get FFB (not perfect and very similar to F1 22) , it does not cut out the FFB mid-race (or at least in the number of laps I raced) , but of course trueforce is still not there and now we have the extra bonus of the buttons on the bottom of the wheel (plus and minus and the dial) not working anymore even though they are assigned.....

@wildwestcowboySeriously why do you keep going?
Funny how you didn't respond to ranked still being playable ay.
You're the one that came on here first and declared what EA should make a priority purely based on what you want.
To back that up you're pulling player numbers/percentages out of your arse and treating them as fact.
I never said wheel users are the majority but if you want to play that game you're acting as if ranked players are so go figure, it works both ways.
Ranked isn't broken, its just bugged and full of griefing the same as all driving games online, if you think that's more important than wheels not working in a DRIVING GAME then you're disregarding logic purely for selfish gain.
Just stop, i'm not replying to you again__________________________________________________________________________
Want a response to ranked being ‘playable’? It’s not! It’s quite literally not playable. I have to wait upwards of two hours to even get a lobby of up to 5 people playing. And when I do get into a race, half the time I get rammed off, and the other half the times the points system gets my points wrong and only adds say 10 points when it says I earns 75. Unplayable!
And no mate, I did not pull that percentage figure from nowhere. I quoted it from someone else. You knew that.
And I stand by the fact that I believe that players who care about career mode, ranked, or co-op career, IS most of, if not all of the F1 23 player base currently. Hence of high priority.
Ranked is in fact more broken than the rest of the online modes, because firstly the points system doesn’t work, and secondly ranked has the worst matchmaking ever, unlike general open lobbies where you can choose your session. So many people are struggling with ranked, which is why I advocate for it being fixed - that’s not selfish.
Again, trying to end the conversation are you? That’s totally fine, and I mean it. It’s okay to disagree, just be respectful.
