The ability to look LEFT AND RIGHT is NOW BROKEN...
Have tried different cars and default settings / reset my steering wheel settings for left and right look but it is NOT WORKING NOW... It was working 15 minutes ago BEFORE THE PATCH!!!

I've checked this after the patch, and I am still able to perform this.
Which wheel are you currently using and have you tried different button mapping on the wheel for the left and right view?
Using Fanatec McLaren V2 wheel.
Have reset buttons, have set cockpit camera functions to default, have verified the game files in Steam and still does not work..have made a quick clip of the problem and will have it on youtube shortly.
If I switch to any other view OTHER than cockpit, left and right look is working... ONLY in COCKPIT view does it seem to be locked.
Tried using different configurations of buttons, even keyboard ones but look left and right seems to be locked in COCKPIT VIEW ONLY.
As I said I have also verified the files in Steam..
- @EA_rephii Other people are now reporting the same issue and also on different platforms...not just PC.
Think it Looks like another nuke and fresh install with so many ontrack changes especially with Ai increase… Hopefully give me best possible chance off smooth gameplay

same here for left-right, although the way it works is changed from a slower pan to a quicker immediate shift with a smaller angle of change.
I actually prefer the quick flick - the pan was too slow to be really useful in the heat of racing. Being able to adjust the angle might be nice (haven’t checked to see if that’s an option) and based on the vid posted it may be affected by other cam settings - I see movement but not as much as for me
- @EA_rephii This also is the case using the default controller settings on a PS4. The stick only now moves just slightly right and left, and no longer up or down in cockpit view. I cannot even look far enough anymore to see into side mirrors!
was handling model of realistic performance of cars changed?? I used same setup...and realistic rb on timetrial feels so different to drive..like there is no grip ..
used 11 11 wings at monza..yesterday I did 1 18 431
today Barly into 1 18 5...something has changed with realistic performance...and rb was always faster then equal car..maybe downforce input of car was changed???
and on PS you have to reconnect g923...because if you start game connected with wheel there is no Force..but then when you reconnect wheel..it starts to work..but like there is forced wheel setup..if you change degree..it doesn't work ..360° to 310 its the same...

anyone else having difficulty downloading the patch? I click update and it downloads. The game then tells me the game requires an update???Constant loop with this outcome and can't even launch the game...
I also have problem updating the game. This issue shows every patch. EA app show that game is up to date, and there's no update for this game, but when I try to play it, The game shows that there's newer version availible, and I cannot play the old version. I close the game, close EA app, clear EA app cache, and nothing. No update availible. So I cannot play the game I paid for. Nice.
Sometimes I can fix this, forcing to "repair game files" but it not always helps.Edit: Today when I forced to repair game files, after repairing was domplete, EA app showed "update needed" and not allowing me to run the game. I clicked "UPDATE", EA APP started to update the game. When it was finished, it still not allowing me to run the game, showing "update needed", and when I click "update" the same thing happened. In a loop. Rebooting PC and clearing cache won't help. So I can't play. Thanks EA. Worst devs ever!

hi @atfmarko, I would say the same, I had 24.9 in Silverstone and 24.9 got today in my first run after new patch (lost 23 thousands tbh). Btw I was 7 thousands behind you in Monza (before the wipe) 🙂
- @Nuvolarix yes...I did reset it like 100 times..to see if maybe game time has problem with delta...tried with no setup and with same setup I used....I even used your setup..which by the way was awesome..but I think something has changed..maybe setups..or maybe handling or both ...

the big only accrues in cockpit cam. When you press look left/right the camera barely moves. Before the patch you were able to see the mirrors which you can’t do anymore for me and many others that play cockpit cam without VR it’s almost unplayable now.
I have the same problem. When you drive in cockpit cam it do not work. In other camera settings it works good
It is possible, but in CockpitCam, the angle is no longer enough to See the mirrors.It's really anoying, I have the same problem. ( Trustmaster/ Xbox)
- When will the problem with the cockpit view finally be solved? I just want to be able to look in the rearview mirror. Since the new patch this is no longer possible.
