In an unrelated remark:

Has anyone found that "Pit Release Assist" gives back control of the car too late to be making Turn 1 without locking tyres up (for example, in Bahrain)? Happened with both Hard and Medium tyres.

I also use Pit Release assist as I am not bothered. And I also have to be on brake even before control is returned. But there few tracks when you don't need to care, e.g. Brazil or Zandvoort.
I guess it would much more fun to get control back before end of white line, otherwise engineer's comment about being careful when exiting pit lane is quite useless 😉

    @P4st3l1ak I agree.

    I don't see why control can't be returned once you've left the Pit. The entry is when you lose control...it'd make more sense.
