I also use Pit Release assist as I am not bothered. And I also have to be on brake even before control is returned. But there few tracks when you don't need to care, e.g. Brazil or Zandvoort.
I guess it would much more fun to get control back before end of white line, otherwise engineer's comment about being careful when exiting pit lane is quite useless 😉
